Hey guys! I'm 4 months pregnant and I don't know if wearing makeup and skincare products can hurt my baby. I tried to search google for an answer but couldn't get a final answer.
Thanks <3

I don't believe so. Most things that can hurt your baby have to be actually ingested. I wouldn't worry about your makeup.

Haha it doesn't harm the baby.

W a natural pregnancy glow you don't need to pile it on. In my pregnancy I wore much less makeup bcoz my face was almost glowing and I was super exhausted to actually go full glam. Just make sure you don't use make up that breaks you out or you're allergic to it. That way it avoids any stress to you or the baby.

I think this comes from the fact that our skin is the biggest organ. :) I have a 5 year old and went to med school - I can tell you makeup is ok, but it's always better to stay on the all natural side. Most people don't realize that Urban Decay is (mostly) great for you, Alba is a great cleansing brand, etc. Refrain from dying your hair for a bit though :)
It also goes with the same fact of not using parabens, etc. bc at some level they can cause cancer or ignite it if you are predisposed to it (Alba shampoos/cond are GREAT natural products and work better than most high end).
We soak up everything through our skin, so even though we wear stuff on the outside its all being soaked up on the inside..:)

Most makeup is completely harmless. Ask your doctor or physician about what ingredients to avoid! :)

Absolutely!! I have had two little girls and wore full on makeup during both pregnancies!! Just because you are pregnant doesn't mean you need to change how you look or feel! It's an amazing experience and you should feel beautiful.

I was told that you should wear as little as possible, as the chemicals in the make up travels trough your skin and in your body, also no perfume... But that's what doctors say in Denmark, I would ask you doctor what he thinks.

There are chemicals in makeup, so you can't wear all brands! This is a very big issue where I live (Denmark). You can wear makeup made of natural ingredients like Clinique or Body Shop, but not stuff with parabens in them.
Wish you a great pregnancy! Embrace the natural glow it gives you 💖

Skincare wise, you want to stay away from salicylic acid.

And glycolic acid...retinols...wanna put aside until after the baby is born.

You can wear makeup. As for the chemicals in facial care products, I would ask my doc. It will give you peace of mind.
