-6 is nearly blind isn't it!? My stepmom has -8 and can't see anything.. Mine is -2.75 and -4 (my eyes are WEIRD)

@keigan haha I think so, it runs in the family. my aunt was legally blind (before LASIK) my eyesight keeps worsening but I'm hoping I don't end up the same way!

You're legally blind from -18 on.
However, you can still have perfect eyesight even at -30 (in theory, & with glasses of course)
It only ever REALLY counts as lessened eyesight (=blind) when the retinas are damaged.
