Oh my gosh, this JUST happened to me 2 days ago! I'm pretty sure it was the new eye makeup remover I tried. I've used Almay wipes for over ten years and decided to try the CVS brand to save 50 cents. Bad idea! They burned like crazy when I used them (which should have been my first clue!) but I kept using them for a few days. I woke up on Wednesday with the skin around my eyes red just like yours, but even more swollen and puffy! I got a steroid prescription yesterday and it is almost back to normal tonight, thank goodness! The first day I didn't put any makeup on at all, but did a full face yesterday and today, just left off the eyeliner on my lower lashline. Hope yours clears up soon!

I would definitely avoid wearing any makeup whilst your eye looks like this :( also as you said throw everything away and start again. remember that makeup doesn't last forever and we should change eye products after a few months. I would get some anti bacterial eye drops. hope you feel better soon.

It is from Starry Night it called Tickle Me Pink. I got it in my Ipsy bag for June. Thanks ladies, just got home washed what makeup I did wear and its still swollen. Wonder if I should go to ER tonight or wait till morning to go to Urgent Care (we only have ER open all night).

Take an antihistamine tablet (find in the hayfever section of the pharmacy) it will lessen your body's reaction to whatever it is that has caused this.

So I didn't get home until 12:30 last night from work and was exhausted so I didn't go in to the ER. But the swelling has gone down a lot. I decided to take.some benadryl and it seems to have helped.
