At 9 I had some eyeshadows and mascara that I wore now and again. By 11 or 12 I was wearing it a lot more regularly and started to try to recreate the looks of celebrities on the posters in my magazines and then at about 13 or 14 I started going through a 'goth phase'... By 15 I had gone more for 'cyber goth' and had shaved my eyebrows off, drawn them on in dots/electric blue/angry shaped/whatever the hell took my fancy, had false eyelashes on the top and bottom of my eyes and would spend 3 hours putting my makeup on just to go to town with my friends. I then carried a mirror around with me in case my eye dared to water... Thankfully after all that I've finally landed somewhere in the middle (for the most part... I still do crazy things, but as art, not as every day wear haha)

When I was 11 I only wore lipgloss and when I was 12 I wore eyeliner and eyeshadow and now I'm 13 and wear mascara lipgloss eyeshadow and blush on an occasion. Nope, no BB cream or foundation as I want my face to be free of any things like that ❤

Wow seems like everybody started in middle school! But for me it wasn't until my sophomore year that I started wearing makeup and or that first year it was usually just tinted moisturizer, bronzer, eyeliner, and mascara :)
