COCONUT OIL IS GREAT! I definitely recommend getting it. It can be expensive some places, but it's totally worth it. I use it for my hair. It makes it shiny and smooth.

I use it to shave my legs! Normal shaving cream irritates my skin a bit but coconut oil makes your skin soooo super soft.

I use it the most for my hair, cooking, shaving, and removing makeup... I put it in my hair when its dry. I melt it between my palms and saturate my dry hair then put it up in a bun or braids and sleep with it in then wash it out in the morning.

I'm glad to see this post. just bought my first just because I've read so much about it but didn't know what to do with it lol. when used on your skin, do you have to rinse it off or does your skin absorb it?

@Nikelle your skin will absorb it. Just don't put too much on or it will be too greasy.

@Karly...I put it on my hair when its wet as it helps control my frizz. Not a whole lot though...too much and it turns into a greasy mess.

You can get it at the grocery store (look in the health food section for unrefined, extra virgin, organic) or a health food store... I know a lot of people get it online (amazon) also.
