I made friends with all the old timers and punks on St. Marks Pl. in the Village when I was about 11-12 and they helped teach me how to do my makeup!

I didn't have the same resources as these kids do with their youtube and picture tutorials, so I had to practice at home by looking at pictures of my favorite bands and trying to copy their looks.
