I have heard so much great things about MAC so I finally decided to invest my money in their products. I bought the MAC Pro Longwear concealer, MAC studio tech foundation, MAC lipstick (in plumful), MAC studio fix+, MAC cremesheen lip gloss and the finishing powder. I have yet to get any WOW factor from any of these products. The lipstick barely stays on and the gloss is nothing to rave about. I don't know if its just me but I've gotten better results from drugstore products. MAC is expensive and I don't get the hype??

Thank you!! yes they have beautiful colors but they are WAY overrated and definitely overpriced. I think its just people following people.

Your rt!!I have to alz reapply my stick,some brushes are nt all that.One thg is the eyeshadows are great long wear n no falledge.IM telling you maybelline eyestudio shadows n,tattoos are good quality.There mascaras are horrible of Mac.It's really the name we are buying n most cases.

The only things I really like are their lipsticks... I don't like their foundations or concealers. oh and the eyeshadows are pretty nice. there are plenty of better brands out there.

As with any line there are going to be hits and misses. I research everything I purchase and its avoided a lot of drama. A few months ago before I put myself on a no buy I went on a MAC spending spree and I snagged some real winners. So its just all about figuring out what will be best for you (and research anything that catches your eye before you buy).

Yes Aleighnna, I feel like its overpriced and overrated. The MAC lipstick and lip gloss cost me like $40. For that much I can get like 5 different lipsticks plus lip glosses in different shades

I don't think Mac is expensive at all its much cheaper than sephora products and the hype was only cause a lot of makeup artist used it on models and such..:p.

I love my mac foundation, concealer, brow pencil, powder and blush. I can't remember the specific names of them though. I know I don't quite care for their mascara, eyeliner, or eyeshadow though.

Am I crazy? I feel like MAC is cheap for a prestige brand. Most items like eyeshadow and lipstick and liners are $15 or $16. Most other companies are a few dollars more. At least here in the US. As a couple people have already stated, every company has it's hits and misses. As for lipsticks lasting, there are many factors that affect them such as finish and color.
I don't particularly like when people either bash or obsess over MAC. Yes, there are some better products but there are also some worse products, and everyone's opinions and skin are different. What works for one person may not work for everyone and vice versa. It's just all in finding what works for you.

Mac is expensive lol $15 for some lipstick that you can find at a drug store? That's ridiculous. Sure, some of their stuff is good, but I have gotten items better quality than mac (and yes, I always follow makeupalley and I check the products on myself)

Three ate only two MAC products that I can say are worth the price, for me anyway. 1. the original lipglass and 2. The liquid powder. I'm still upset with Ms. Lauder for taking away perscriptives.
