I think its really cute! Its great you feel comfy in it and confident! However, why it might seem skimpy is in the context of your photo now posted on the internet where someone possibly could access your photo. In real life its fine, but I would be careful about posting photos of yourself showing skin, although this site is full of adult, mature users and is pretty safe.

Rebella: I think it's more a matter of opinion on bikinis. I don't want my daughter wearing a bikini until she's like 37! However, reality is she is 10: just started shaving her legs and I think she might want a bikini this year. It's all in your personal opinion.

@Niki: Thank you for your answer. It's a little bit scary for me to see people being protective in this way. If girls are starting to wear a bikini because they are becoming young woman and get confronted by a paedophile I sure hope they don't think that it's there own fault. I'm not trying to be offensive at all. I just think it's a strange world for teenagers, because the media tells them it's the way they should look when they're grown up and parents set the same example as well. At the other side their being told to stay a child and that's something you don't want to hear or obey to when your trying to become a woman.
