I already answered but didn't explain why I like the second one better. Because it's all one colour and a dark colour, it makes you look long and lean. The first one chops you up because of the two different fabrics--resulting in looking shorter and stockier. Also, the white bottom and the dark top should be reversed--the light colour on the skirt of the dress makes you look more pear-shaped. Not saying you are! But the dress gives that illusion. I think the second one is more flattering and slimming. :-)
