I would say every 2-3 days. You can use dry shampoo in between and just pin it back or put in ponytail. All depends too on your work and sweating etc

Well first of all it all depends upon your hair texture. I have read something useful on internet and i m sharing it below:

"How often you need to shampoo depends on how oily your scalp is and your hair's texture. Oil-known as sebum-travels more easily down smooth, straight hair, making it look greasier faster. Sounds a little gross, but sebum helps moisturize and waterproof the hair shaft. This is one reason why curly or coarse hair is drier. When you wash every day, you typically strip off this natural moisturizer and then have to slather it back on in the form of commercial conditioner."

usually once a week. Maybe less. My hair is really dry and curly though. Just depends when it starts looking oily. I had to wean my hair out of being washed every day.

It depends lol .. I mean I usually try to avoid washing it for about 2-3 days after a wash so my hair's natural oils come out.. But it depends - sometimes it's earlier like when I work out.

I usually wash my hair about 3 times a week, shampoo, conditioner and other hair products can cause build up to your hair if you use it too often. Washing your hair about 3, 4 times a week is fine, but it definitely depends on your hairtype, structure and the products that u use.

If your hair is fine and gets oily you can wash it evryday, just use a good moisturizer or oil (coconut is amazing).
If you wash it every other day your hair will "get used to that" and overtime will produce less oil.
Also, don't use moisturizers on your roots.

Washing your hair is good. It's moisturizing. If you wash it often, all you have to do is add oil (I use Moroccanoil) to seal in the moisture.

the reason you girls have to wash your hair everyday is BECAUSE you wash it everyday. you strip all the natural oils and moisture your hair has with crap shampoo, then your hair over produces OR stops producing those oils. which in turn makes your scalp overly greasy or really dry!

I had dreadlocks for 3 years and I washed my hair about twice a week. Now that I'm back to my normal hair I only wash 2- 3 times a week. I use very little shampoo and conditioner only once a week. I rarely straighten it and never blow dry it. I get tons of compliments on my hair and its down to my lower back and thick. What works for me won't work for everyone. But if you really did have dreadlocks you would know that they need wash and care just as much if not more than other hair types.
