I shave my arms too ...lol you can get them waxed which will prevent the hair from growing back thick ...but I usually just shave...I was told the same by my fam when I was younger haha but id rather shave it than have hairy arms ;) there are also hair removal creams you can purchase from a drugstore if u dont feel comfortable with any other options :)

It's a myth that shaving makes hair grow back thicker and I wish people would stop spreading that stupid lie. Also waxing doesn't always make hair grow back thinner. That depends on the persons skin & hair type. Shaving is easier and most importantly cheaper and you will achieve the same results either way.

Shaving works for me! Grows back the same as it was before I started shaving.

That's a myth. Mine grows back thinner and lighter every time. I used to have to shave them every couple of weeks. Now it's like every few months :)

Waxing last longer and the grows back finer and it leaves your skin very smooth . You can have it waxed at a beauty school . Very inexpensive and they are trained to do it .

I shave my arms, otherwise I would have hairy man arms. I love the way my arms looked shaved and honestly never even thought about waxing them. Shaving is just so much cheaper and pain-free for me.

I think that shaving would be the cheapest option but it would require the most upkeep. Waxing is probably the most expensive option with less upkeep but, in order to wax the hair again, you have to wait for it to grow back to a certain length before you can wax again. I don't know what you would think if bleaching though because I don't know if you could even buy enough bleach for arms. Bleach also requires little upkeep. So it's your choice but you have multiple options.

The hair on my arms is so blonde you can almost see it but I still shave mine because I love the way it feels and looks. It has never grown back darker or fuller.

I wax mine. I have tattoos so I hate having hair

It's a total myth- hair cannot grow back thicker just because it has been cut. What's really happening is that as the hair begins in the follicle, it has a thinner end and gets thicker along the shaft as the baby hair grows out. It only appears thicker because you've cut that thin end off, leaving the stump of a fully grown shaft.
I say wax, it lasts so much longer and will cost less in the long run if you do it at home. Try Parissa or Sally Hansen

My arms are hairy and I've tried both waxing and shaving. They both do the same although waxing last longer. Personally I'd advice bleaching them. It makes your arms look a lot less hairy and it is long lasting. You can get bleach from boots for less than a pound and it works really well. :-)

Highly recommend waxing it weakens the follicle and last anywhere between three to six weeks. The only annoying thing is waiting for it to grow out... awkward
