@Nicole H, I don't think the color was strong enough for your hair. Maybe it was something in your hair? Idk. But you can use bleach to get to the color you want too. You can always do some blonde pieces on top and keep your natural color underneath, that's what I have and its called color blocking.

@Savanna M, I really don't know how long that will take honestly, because everyone's hair is different. This time of year it goes slower because of the dry air and it being so cold out (your nails grow slower too, it sucks). I would suggest trimming JUST your ends every 2 months and no longer. Because it may grow, but if your stylist takes off 1 1/2 inches it might just stay that length. Also invest in biotin vitamins. It'll help your hair and nails grow. To train your hair I would use a round brush when you blow dry it, and if you don't blow dry it start to. About adding volume, I would definitely get layers all through out your hair. I have fine hair too, but you can't tell right? Lol. Try not to wash your hair everyday, you're stripping your hair of its natural oils. Try using a dry shampoo in between washes. I would use a volume mousse by the way too. Oh, and no offense your hair looks really dry, and it looks like you flat iron it, please keep the temp at a lower, and use a flat iron heat spray please!

Shirlz A, I would totally try Paul Mitchell's regular tea tree line! If you have a sensitive scalp I wouldn't suggest this product because it tingles on your head, and it could feel like burning. But if you don't have a sensitive scalp go for it its amazing and totally worth the price. Plus it smells like peppermint. I hope I helped.

@Leanne D, First off invest in a really good volume mousse. I personally use Paul Mitchell's extra body foam, and its great. If you're trying up styles I would get a really good hair spray to keep it in place as well as bobby pins. I use big sexy hair spray. All of their hair sprays are amazing, you could stand in hurricane winds and its not going anywhere. OK I don't actually know that but its awesome. Lol.

@Sam B, Us crazy ass hair stylists love details! I would say I want medium length layers all over with a full side bang, and just show them how short you want your hair to be. Bring this picture too just in case. I love visuals. I encourage all my clients to have pictures!

@Charlie R, I would just use that hair mask on your ends then.

@Sydney W, If you're flat ironing it I would use Paul Mitchell's super skinny serum. Its the best for your hair type. If you're looking to keep it curly use Paul Mitchell's fast form cream gel when you blow dry your hair! It doesn't leave your hair crunchy like most gels, because its a cream its going to leave your hair less frizzy. You can put it in dry hair too.

@Jordan R, Blow out your bangs with a round brush, and then use a really strong hair spray. I like big sexy hair, or Tresemme's #4. I would use a waxy product. But don't use a lot, just put a bit on the tips of your fingers.

@Dalorean M, Coconut milk. Any brand will do. I would let it sit for 10 mins max and then rinse in cool water.

@Taylor P, I would just put color over it. It may not take, so you might have to go darker than your natural color.

@Brittnay K, You're going to have to bleach it because your hair is so dark.

Hi Lisa, I'm an Indian with long, straight, silky hair. In the past I've got some layering haircuts which gave a bouncy look but made my hair very fine. Hence I'm not wearing any cut now & my hair falls flat. I don't use any heating products nor have I ever colored.
Can u suggest some ways I can wear my hair? I don't like it when it falls flat.
Also any product to add bounce & a wavy hair look? I had once tried soft curls and it didn't stay on my hair. Maybe cause of wrong tools/techniques.

After I straighten my hair it never stays straight! I have thick hair and use a heat protector every time I use hot tools on my hair. Do you know of any products that will help keep my hair straight after straightening?
