I want a nice dewy look. It doesn't need a bunch of coverage, but still a medium amount. I just want to look natural without having a total cake face :/ Any suggestions?

And I don't want to spend a bunch of money.. Under 30 dollars would be ideal. But I'm open to pricier options if necessary

What primer and foundation are you using? How are you applying your foundation? Cakiness is an application issue and not really a product issue.

I moisturizes, use the wet and wild primer, and I apply it with a damp beauty blender or my fingers. And I use the NYX Dewy Finish setting spray.

But I just need a nice foundation that sort of moisturizes my skin and isn't too concentrated

Why not try the Loreal matte morphose? That works very good on me. It looks very natural too.

Thanks ❤️ I'll look into those ones. I use Loreal True Match and MAC Studio Finish btw.

Cakiness is caused by application issues not the foundation itself - if you are having problems with cakey foundation it's because you are applying it in a way that makes it look cakey

L'oreal true match Lumi is amazing! I was worried I wouldn't like it. But I love love it. And you don't have to use a lot to get a good starter coverage.

I have the same problem. I used to think it was because of the foundations I was choosing, but in actuality it's just my skin is too combo and crazy. Long story short, the latest foundation I've tried and love immensely is the Almay TLC foundation. There isn't a great color selection, but the coverage is AMAZING and it looks so natural and feels to light too! Its quickly become one of my faves.!
