and i did not say people who put tons of make-up don't have skills. i know that. i have friends who are make-up artists. i have learned from the best. you can put more or less make-up, completely not my problem. and i am not to judge. but don't start calling me smug and off-putting when you don't know a single thing about me.

Natural is fine sometimes, but dramatic is way more fun!! We only live once, so why not go all out?? Why do you think a majority of people here spend so much on makeup? Cause its their passion! And if its your passion, your not going to be natural all the time.. But to each their own. Wearing lots of make up does NOT make you fake, your personality does. Jeez.

Honestly I think both of you are being childish. Some people wear makeup an it makes them feel confidant. That is beautiful. Some people are blessed and don't need lots of make up to be striking.... Fantastic. However, less does not always equal more and more does not always equal more. Girls who cake on makeup do so cause they want to. I don't feel like it is any ones place to tell them they shouldn't. And in all fairness, it was kind of negative to make a post saying that these girls who cake on makeup are not beautiful. Just because you don't like t doesn't mean others don't. And it isn't appropriate to come in blasting someone for that opinion. Vanessa does have alot of good things to add to the community. Apparently she felt attacked by you saying girls who do this look stupid. She is a beautiful girl, who knows how I put make up on. Both of you, shame on you. This is a community. Act like it.

Does anyone here ACTUALLY think that say - orange tans and too-dark foundations look good? No. I don't think so. There is a desire at a certain level to still look SOMEWHAT natural, even if you prefer a dramatic look.

Some people wear - by my standards - a lot of makeup and still manage to look like themselves. That is what I think of in terms of natural and in terms of "less is more". There's a designer named Keiko Lynn who has a great beauty style. I love it. Wouldn't wear it, but it completely suits her face. She still wears more eyeliner in a week than I wear in a month, but I wouldn't go calling her look "unnatural".

I think we need some definition of terms before everyone gets into a cat fight.

I agree Stephanie D. amen to that! Some people seriously cannot handle being on here. They are too immature. I really didn't want people to start with the negative comments. This post was meant to empower girls to not be afraid to wear less and still feel so beautiful and confident. I am seriously thinking about deleting my acc because i sure as hell cannot deal with immature little girls attempting to insult me. I have been spreading positive messages on here for everyone. but some people always try to stir up the pot and make it negative.
