You can probably find marshmallow root powder in your local health food store under the name Althea Root. I know for a fact you can order it online. One online store that I found marshmallow root powder was butters-n-bars.com.

To different textures will feel different naturally but if you aren't moisturizing it will never be soft or manageable like AA hair can be! Cut down on shampoos with sulfates (soaping agent) it strips our hair and makes it dry and stiff and increase conditioning treatments with conditioners that don't have silicone ( anything that end in -cone)....
