I haven't tried either but the colour pop shadows are calling me! And aren't they only like six bucks? The metallic shades make my heart palpitate! lol.

Hi Cindy, I personally would go for the colour pop shadows, I was lucky enough to have a great dear friend Jackie she knows me well, lol she sent me some and I fell in love with them but then again I love pigments and pressed pigments, and wet pigments.I had the chance to work with the Tartelette shadows on a face a few back and I will say this is just my opinion but I disliked it to the fullest, the color payoff is minimal very light with no punch but if you want complete subtle mediocre finish then you might like it. Again just my opinion :)

Alma I love pigments too!! I have a couple but those are the ones I reach the most to. which colors would you suggest for my brown eyes? I do love me some neutrals but I've never done pops of color. and also alma what brushes do you suggest to work with these I've heard they are kinda tricky.

With brown eyes you can pull off any color, I have the colors lovely, Krinkle, Tassel and 3.I added something extra I think you may like which I'm in love with is the L'Oréal infallible pressed pigments Amber rush, endless sea, primped&precious and midnight blue. Brush I use to apply the colour pop is Bare minerals mac coverage concealer brush because it lays it on with one press with no hassles. :)

Colour pop pigments are set pigments not meant for blending they're pressed drama just one hit over main lid type of product.I think so many get confused by it because so many think all things are meant for blending when it's not really the case. You can if wanted lay some over a shadow to give a hint of metallic sparkle but really it's very nice and intense on it's own. :) Now those L'Oréal ones you can blend.

Here is Krinkle right side applied with a flat paddle bare concealer brush and on the left is Krinkle applied with Mac 217 brush, do you see the difference and why it's best to use a flat brush for application? But could still be OK over another shadow for extra drama.

I like that though. just to to put on my lids with no effort but it look like I put effort lol. I hear so much about colour eyeshadows and lip sticks. and they seem so affordable. I've just never had a pressed pigment.
