I don't know where you live , but at ROSS , there hair tools are high end work very well , and I've bought a few tools there . A wand for 12$ and a flat for 14$ ... I'm a hair dresser so I need my tools to work well and they do .

ghds are the best, they arent cheap but they are SO worth it, the results are amazing, they leave my hair effortlessly straight and shiny!

Hey Nic! Well im guessing ROSS is like a tjmaxx or marshalls? If it is i got a Fusion Tools flat iron for $40 instead of $100 but it sucks! I have to go over my wavey thin hair like 6 times and put serious pressure on it! I hate it... Im thinking of buying chi though... Help?

What you need to look for is one that has a temperature control. CHI, FHI, GHD use 420 and that's it. You don't need that amount of heat on your hair every time. A good flat iron is worth the price.

I have a Cricket flat iron that I got back in the summer. It's a bit more expensive than low-end flat irons but it's still affordable. I really like it.

Before that I've used both Conair and Revlon ones (the ones with the titanium plates). Of the two brands, IMO, Revlon is better.

I love the Remington shine therapy one. It's about 50/60 bucks

I use a brand called Cortex - I got it from Winners, which is the Canadian version of TJ Maxx. In Canada a Cortex straightener is around $30 bucks (so probably less in the US) and mine has lasted me for over 3 years and still going!

I have a pink Revlon flat iron and I find that it works really well!(: sorry the pic isn't very attractive but that's how my hair turns out every time.
