Yeah there pretty clumpy I would maybe try less mascara or a better one and maybe only doing the top lashes.

I do them that way because if I just stroke through them and put on one coat, then they are like pine needles.

Giitrrl you can still be ghetto and fab. But they are not callled ghetto eyelashes they are called clumpy bad mascara eyelashes. Try not to layer sooo much on! And don't listen to ignorant people!

Well thanks guys...guess ill just stop wearing my mascara then. My mom said they look pretty on my eyes and open up my face but most of y'all disagree and think I should not wear them this way...

Have you tried an eye lash curler? try slightly heating the curler and pinch you r lashes with it real fast. that can help curl them. try and find a good primer for your lashes first that way you can build them up then add in the black. and non at all or less in bottom. you do have pretty lashes though. you will learn in time how to play them up and look their best :)

You got a lot of lash girl feel blessed!! Start at the base of your lash and wiggle on up you can apply as many coats as you need if you maneuver your brush this way and it won't get like that. Also curl em' for some uniformity...is uniformity a word? I dunno but at the end of the day if you FEEL beautiful then forget what anybody else thinks, don't stop wearing your mascara MUAH xoxoxo

I've worn makeup for a long time so I think I know what suites me, it just really offended me when the girls at school today where making those comments towards me. I do curl my lashes and that's why they go straight up!

If you curl your lashes before you put it on and hold it for 5 seconds then they should curl up not stick out. & never stop wearing your mascara!! It's a girls best friend! but anyways, you have thick lashes so just try to start at your base like always and apply it until it's thick enough for your liking and instead of doing all your bottom lashes try putting mascara almost to the middle and then only putting it at the base of your eyelashes the rest of the way. that way it can widen your eyes but also be kind of subtle since your top lashes are so thick and long.
