Both the mascara tube and curler have to be warm! Curl eyelashes 30 seconds, one good coat of mascara, curl again 30 seconds.
Also waterproof holds curl way longer.
I always go back to cg lash exact. It's wax based so you can manipulate your lashes a bit with your fingers before it dries.

I use both volumizing and lengthening mascara's and I alternate between them. Before I proceed to the next mascara, I'll clean any clumps off with a clean mascara wand.

Lash cards, Dorothy, are little curled cards on one end that keep you from getting mascara all over your lids when you apply it. :)
If you guys want a demonstration of the spoon curler trick, Michelle Phan just made a video with it.

Curl eyelashes wit curler then apply Covergirl Mascara( they are the best because they don't clump) then take disposable mascara brush and brush thru eyelashes

Honestly, I just curl, then apply without caring if I get it on my skin. I make sure to coat every lash, then I go back with a q tip dipped in makeup remover and clea. whatevers on my skin. It's just what I do, though a little weird.

Usually I heat the eyelash curler using lighter lol then wipe with tissue to cool it down a little bit. its the fast way to curl my lashes since they are short and thin. then just apply mascara a few times, wipe some excess to avoid clump.

I use an old mascara brush (cleaned up) and then before I put on my mascara I run the empty brush through my lashes and it makes them fuller and less clumpy! :)

I curl my lashes and first add a clear mascara and then a black mascara over it :)
