Have 2 girls. Both girls got pierced when they were babies. Now they are 7 & 8 and never really want to wear earings ever unless it's dress up time and they want to put moments earrings on. Lol. I was 16 when I got mine.

I'm not a mom, but whenever I wanted something my mom made me work for it. For example challenge her to get straight A's (if she doesn't already get them) or something that will benefit her :)
