In my opinion there should be an age limit for this site because I read a lot of the yoounger girls posts and I feel like they are too young to be caught up in some topics. I believe 16+ is appropriate. But these younger girls (and I may be the only one who has seen this) post about boyfriend problems and anything that doesn't apply to beauty. The way I see it, this is a Beauty website/app for Women. Although, we have all been young once and have had boy troubles, this is not a place to talk about such topics. Go to Facebook with those problems. The ladies on this site are hear to give beauty advice, not console broken hearted or lustful tweens.

Hey Rachael.
We are planning a revamp of our forum categories, to better corral the off topic stuff that a lot of people would rather not read. We are also preparing a revamp and a better presentation of our forum guidelines, to make sure everybody knows what is and isn't allowed, and what the expected standards of behavior are.
These, along with some other improvements we have planned, should be going out pretty soon.

But I deffinitly understand what you're saying, I notice that when I posted a topic the other day about blonde hair and what toners to use I had a person who posted saying "my hairs naturally blonde" and it just kind of blew my mind when I looked at the profile I think she was under 11 years old, but what was the point of commenting? I'm really not trying to be mean but a lot of the younger girls especially try to give their input and want to give advice but I find it almost annoying to people, like myself when I try to talk to other people who know what they're talking about, or have experience experimenting on themselves, schooling, or just being a girl, (whatever it is) for tips and tricks, or really just what works for them- and I'm having a 12 year old tell me what I should be doing/using; or really even just giving stupid pointless input. Maybe I'm just being a crazy hormonal prego right now but it just reallys bugs me! :)

@Ana, ME TOO! And for some reason it just fires me up I just want to yell at some of those people and be like excuse me if you don't know what you're talking about dont comment!! #@!@%$@#! hahaha but, I agree- however my love for this website, and hair and make up overcomes the annoying-ness of others because it works out when you do find that one person with GREAT advice, it makes it all worth it :) And I personally hope that at some point there might be some type of different age group forums or something?! Even though it should be common sense to not post stupid things like that on other peoples forums where they are trying to really get good advice and information, sigh- owell. And am I the only one who gets really bothered when someone will type out a response to you and this is what they write:
"hEy, I lovethat stuff it wrkz gr8 and you shld rly try dis rimel lipstck itz bomb! and so prettttyyy lyke omg" hahaha okay that was somewhat exaggerated, but you get the point- I can't STAND when people try to give input and not only can they not spell, they type in slang- it's the worst! I just hope that people know that when they type/talk/respond like that, they not only look extremely trashy but unintelligent as well; and people don't want to take their advice (good or not) seriously. I really hope I'm not the only one who thinks this!
