9th grade. I was 14. My mom wouldn't let me do it sooner. Although, I dry shaved my legs without her knowing. I regretted it.

I have semi dark hair but my leg hair grows in really light. I'm 14 and started shaving last year not too often though. Only when I had cheer. Any suggestions?

my mum wouldn't let me start shaving until I had started my period, which was 14. but I was allowed to use silky mitts (sand paper for legs) which made my legs really smooth, it just took longer to do than shaving.
