As for permanent solutions: laser removal, and electrolysis are the ONLY options. Waxing is more long term than threading, threading is more long term than plucking, and bleaching doesn't remove the hair at all bit lightens it drastically. Most facial hair bleaching products are very safe, and can be used while you decide a more long term solution. Good luck! I too suffer facial hair.

Oh there are also facial hair removing creams, they work well, but typically cause the hair to grow back thicker, and it doesn't last as long as plucking, threading, or waxing.

Invest in an epilator. You'll have to repeat but it's not like waxing where you have to pay for someone to do it every couple of weeks, you can remove the hair from home. They sell anywhere from $20 to $80 but I've found cheaper ones work just as well. And you can also use them for legs or underarms at a higher setting

Electrolysis is the only permanent hair removal. Everything else is NOT, this includes lasering which only guarantees a reduction of hair growth. I'm East Indian, so I know all about hair removal :P hahaha...I tried laser and it did remove the majority, and then I used electrolysis to remove the remainder.

The only thing with lasering is you must be careful and go to a professional that wont discolor or damage your skin.

With everything else, waxing and what not, it'll bring more hair growth in those areas and make your facial hair look more like a 5 o'clock shadow!

:) hope this helps!

Oh, also Nancy there are numbing creams you can use like Emla before you go for electrolysis or laser. It will numb your skin so your wont feel as much pain and if you numb it properly you won't feel any pain! :)

Unless you want to do laser or electrolysis, your options for long term results are threading or waxing. I used to wax my face and no matter what kind of wax I tried there was excess redness and bumps, plus waxing stretches your skin and leads to lines and wrinkles faster. Threading is great and removed the hair well and depending on your hair type and how fast it grows it can be even longer lasting than waxing. It is for me :)
