Great Little Tool!
I bought this tool because I thought I could depot without it and ended up with several cracked shadows. Depotting with this tool was infinitely easier and more successful. I was able to pop out shadows from the Urban Decay Naked I & II with no damage at all. I also successfully liberated product from a Smashbox II palette (I hated the packaging and the arrangement of the shadows). I depotted all very carefully with only the Z spatula and am much happier with all organized into a Z palette. To share about space: the UD Naked Shadows I & II fit nicely into a medium sized Z; and the entire collection of Smashbox MasterClass II shadows into a large Z with the blushes and highlighting powders in a medium Z (with space to add two MUFE artist shadows).15 found this helpful.Sophia K. 3 stars because it seems like decent quality but honestly it's not slim enough to depot palettes OR single shadow pots in my opinion. Keeping it as a tool for other things because it's too expensive to throw away and not expensive enough to bother returning. It's cute with the oil slick coloring and I give props for the idea but I've depotted everything I own with a steak knife and a skinny poker twig that I found in a drawer.10 found this helpful.Jo M. I am so happy Z-Palette finally came out with a Depotting tool all their own! Gone are the days of using my nice tweezers to pry open eyeshadow and/or blush pots. Now I have a tool especially for the job and it does the job well. I'm Very happy with my Depotting spatula. Now if only Beautylish would restock them so I can gift 1 to my friend!6 found this helpful.Brenda D. May 15, 2015

A must have tool!
When I purchased this, I didn't think I would use it as much as I have! I went through and depotted alot of my eyeshadows and this made it so easy! Also, when you are on your last drop of a product(I dont waste money!;) it really gets down in those stubborn tubes to make sure you get your money's worth. Very sturdy and the matte black is a great touch!
