Great Value for the most part....be flexible!

Okay so I have never tried anything from Wayne Goss so I decided to go for it! I usually don't go for "mystery boxes" because I have usually found this is a way for companies to get rid of excess stock and things that don't sell. This is not the case with this box. They are very diligent in matching your tone and you don't get duplicates. I'm not going to list what I received as it's already been done, but well worth the && My only complaint is the blush... I like many others received the "vivid azalea" which I think should only come in the dark kit. I'm not even going to attempt to use it as it is way way to bright. I think this would be better suited for people of color not a light/medium person like myself . I thought for sure the coral rose would be the medium palette. Pretty disappointed as I really wanted to try a blush but not this one. Wouldn't buy this shade in a million years.

This is the only thing keeping me from a five star review.

I did purchase both the Medium and Light. I bought the Medium first because I prefer a darker lip and tan well, so I thought I'd use it in the Spring/Summer. I got the Imperial Topaz shadow which I own and I'm not a huge fan of. The bronzers were great. The formula is smooth and buildable. The blush was horrendous. The colors were Shocking/Pearl. This aptly named Shocking is a pink so bright, even with the lightest hand and the Wayne Goss Airbrush, it was still too much. The Lip Liners seem to have a pattern in both boxes. Two super light almost exact colors and one pop of life. In this box, were the shades Sepia, a yellow toned, unflattering "nude", Medium Nude, an almost exact dupe for Sepia with a barely noticeable shade shift lighter and Cinnamon, a nice brick reddish-brown shade. The pencils were dry even after breaking them in a little. The tones were very off putting and brought no life or definition to my fair lips, except for Cinnamon. So actual Medium tones would be washed out in my opinion. As for the Lipsticks, I recieved Magnolia, a peachy shade. It was actually duplicated in my Light box, where it was much more of a fit. This would also wash out a Medium tone. The second color was Pecan, at least according to the sticker on the bottom. There was a difference in packaging and this bullet was marred, smudged, and had dots on the surface. I tried to pull off the sticker from the box because it had a different name, but it ripped and I can't tell what it was now. All the other lipsticks had the shade name printed on the box and a black sticker at the bottom. Pecan did not. I'll include pictures of the regular bottoms and this one, as well as the place where the sticker was on the outer package. This Lipstick reminded me of the Jaclyn Hill launch of anyone else follows make up like I do. If you don't, that's not a good thing, lol. The formula is creamy and applied well from the Magnolia tube. The Eyeliners were Obsidian and Deep Amethyst. Both of these were repeated in the Light box, not they are a great formula for a pencil and colors that will be used or gifted easily. Finally the Glosses were Cherry Blossom, which looked like a mauvey dark pink in the tube, but turned into nothing on the lips and Antique Rose, a goldish glitter bomb. Both of these are not for Medium tones. They washed me out and I'm very Fair this time of year. I was most disappointed that 3 of the 4 Glosses between my Medium and Light box were all glittery and frosty. I had hoped to have a more wearable version of his Glosses. As it stands, I ended up with 2 out of 6 Liners that compliment me. All 4 Lipsticks can be made to work, but one is a dupe and one I'm afraid to put on my lips due to the condition. I have 2 exact matches in unwearable, if not unbearable blush shades and the brighten shade is barely visible. I know it's meant to enhance, but I don't see it being very versatile. I'm so sad that this was my introduction into the rest of his product line. I guess my lesson is, stick to the brushes. Maybe I'll try his liners when I can better see swatches, because some of these were colors I thought I would love based on the online description and YouTube reviews; however, the real life undertones are not flattering at all. I'm still a Wayne Goss fan, just one with limited product interest after this. Some pics are with flash and without. The hand swatches are of both the Light and Medium boxes with the Blush and Liners at the top and bottom since they were repeats.

Definitely a $300+ value

Heyla,

I received lipsticks in Magnolia and Pecan. The Imperial Topaz Palette, the Vivid Azalea palette, and the Satin Bronze palette. Eye pencils in deep amethyst and obsidian. Gloss in Antique rose and cherry blossom. And Lip pencils in cinnamon, medium nude, and sepia.

I gave the Magnolia lipstick and cherry blossom gloss to my fairer friend because they seemed too pale for me. The texture of the lipstick is amazing, and I don't usually rock a nude lip, but Pecan was flattering, if not mind-blowing. The only Wayne Goss product I've previously bought was the Tourmaline palette. I was happy that the topaz palette had a black in it and a paler gold. The product I was most disappointed w/ was the blush, I know he says it's universally flattering, but both me and my friend tried it on, and we were both like.... no. The highlighter is amazing and both of us loved it. The satin bronze palette is good shades for my skintone, although I have to confess that I don't really use bronzer or understand it. The eye pencils are the creamiest in the universe and highly pigmented. I love the that the obsidian is really blackest black. The deep amethyst was also flattering. The medium nude and sepia lip pencils seemed to almost be the same color and were both misses for us. We tend to prefer darker lip liners. However, the antique ross gloss over the cinnamon lip pencil had me looking majestic and sultry.

So yes, you could spend $155 on products you *know* you like/want, but this was a very fun experience sitting on a couch w/ my bestie and seeing what we got.

Love it !!!

Was impressed with my Delux Suprise bag . 3 pallets ,2 eye liners ,3 lip liners ,2 lipsticks, 2 ,lip glosses . All came well packaged. Best non liquid eyeliner I've ever used !!Haven't used another eyeshadow pallet since I got this one. Was happy to receive bronzer that fits my skin tone. Pretty new to it. Absolutely no complaints about the formula. Two pallets are really hard to open. Hoping that will change with use.

Great Value! Love it all!

I bought the Deluxe Surprise bag in Medium. Since I have all of Wayne's eyeshadow, blush and radiance palettes, I was expecting to get back up copies. I opened my box and found a delightful assortment valued at a little over $300. There was a Peony blush palette, Bronze radiance, and Imperial Topaz eye shadow! I received 2 lip glosses, 2 lip cremes, 3 lip pencils and 2 eyeliner pencils. I could not be happier. Thank you Beautylish. As always, everything was packed with care.

What lovelies!!

So glad and happy I got this! Some items I already have but that is ok, since this is a surprise bag so I do expect this!! I got the gorgeous imperial topaz eye palette (which I already have, but super happy to now have a back up), the blush peony blush palette, the satin bronze radiance booster face palette, walnut & carnation lipsticks, petunia & hyacinth high glosses, copper flame (which I have as well) & rich hazel eyeliners, & medium nude, mauve (already have) & natural berry (have as well). Every shade is perfect for me and I love every single item!

Total value of items which are new to me is slightly more than usd200, and another ~usd100 worth of back up items. And this made me truly thankful and so so so happy! Thank you Nia for packing my special surprise bag for me! Thank you Wayne & Beautylish! Looking forward to more surprise bags!

You won’t regret it!

I’ve never tried any of Wayne’s products.. I was quite happy with the number of products, the shades and that they followed the word medium accurately! I suggest you don’t choose the light bag unless you’re milky fair! ‘Cause the medium will suit even fair people and you won’t get any non-matching shades

The quality of products is great!

In my bag: I Got carnation and walnut lippies Mauve and medium lip pencils Petunia and hyacinth lipglosses Rich hazel and copper flame eye kohl pencils The luxury eye palette in Imperial topaz The Radiance Boosting Face Palette in Satin Bronze The Weightless Veil Blush Palette In blush peony

This makes me more excited to try more surprise bags from beautylish I had the best experience ♥️ Thank you
