100% Organic Cold-Pressed Moroccan Argan Oil is a nutrient-rich oil for skin and hair.
Apply a few drops to your face as needed. We recommend applying it after water-based products, like serums and toners. Work through damp, clean hair daily or as needed.
This product is considered safe for use while pregnant or breastfeeding, but it’s best to check with your healthcare provider first.
Argan oil is a non-comedogenic oil that is suitable for most skin types. Because everyone’s skin is different, we recommend patch testing any new product before adding it to your routine.
Apply it to cleansed skin after toners, serums, and other water-based treatments. You can apply another moisturizer on top if desired.
This Moroccan Argan Oil is completely unrefined and imparts a natural scent. This scent is not an indication of rancidity. Argan Oil that does not have a scent is refined and offers reduced benefits.
I used to use the JOSIE MARAN argon oil on my face but I noticed it dried it out more than moisturize it. I purchased the Ordinary Organic Moroccan Argon Oil and have been OBSESSED with it ever since. (Use very little) plus it doesn't leave your face looking or feeling oily after a few minutes after applying it. Plus note the HUGE price difference. JOSIE MARAN $48 , while this oil is only $6.80 !!!
I was so excited when hearing that The Ordinary brand was coming to Beautylish! Ever since I saw Wayne Goss speak of it on his YouTube channel, I couldn't wait for these product to hit the US! Unfortunately, they sold out of many of their products so fast, which was to be expected. However I was fortunate to snag my hands on some of their products, and as to my expectation I was Not unsatisfied! The Moroccan Argan Oil was easy to review (because with skincare, it takes atleast two months before I can give a throw review,) however as for the oil I knew instantly how good this product was. As soon as I massaged it in my wet hair I knew instantly how good this product was. It left my hair so silky smooth and shiny, I couldn't stop rubbing mu hands through what used to be a frizzy mess now became soft and luscious to touch! It's better than the over the counter Moroccan Argan Oil I used to purchase at the drug store, (I think because of the cold press.) I will continue to repurchase this product, not just because of the way it has changed my hair, but also of the great value and savings!
I'm actually scared to rub this in my hair or on my face because I might vomit. The smell is so strong of manure that when I used it on my hand, that's all I could smell. Has it gone bad?
I received my argan oil super quickly, so no complaints on processing & shipping. However, the oil smells rancid and I do not want it anywhere near my skin or hair. I've used argan oil from other brands before and it has never smelled like this. I received 3 other products from The Ordinary and they are all lovely, this must have been a dud. Still, I'm not happy.
There are so many hair products on the market, and it's hard to find that 'just right' oil to use on my hair. This product leaves it feeling silky and add shine, but your hair still feels clean, and not weighted down by product(s).
It does have a particular smell... *IT IS NOT RANCID* As some people believe. I mix it with moisturiser which does help. Also, if you have an essential oil you like, mixing a drop in with the A.O will help with the smell. Once on your skin, it does disappear after 10 min or so, and just has a slight nutty smell
Okay, the smell is strange, not pleasant at all. I don't know if it's normal or not, but I tried it on my face few times now and I think it works really good. My skin feels like velvet and that smell dissappears for seconds. It leaves me with healthy glow, but my skin is not oily after. Plus it goes just a tiny bit for the face area.
Hair just loves this! Summer months now and the humidity in Maryland is nuts. My hair is dramatically shinier, softer, without any frizz. My hair is long and fine and this product is replacing the Moroccan Oil I used to purchase at quadruple the price. Also loving this product on my hands/nails. YES! YES!
not much to say other than this is a thin oil that is honestly great and super hydrating. i mix a few drops of this in with a dot of the ordinary's natural moisturizing factors + HA and its my favorite thing to moisturized with atm
Thought I would give this a try because I have not been disappointed by The original when it comes to skin care, so why not see what else they can do? My hair is beyond thirsty and my ends are divorced..so I usually have to use a moisturizing leave in conditioner, and either a palmade or frizz fighter..so, on freshly washed hair I use 1 dropper of oil from ends to roots and brushed it through and kept my fingers,crossed.. only to have it dry in soft almost frizz free curls. (Without all the extra products! I did mousse though.)
