I am in LOVE with Tarte products! This one in particular is one of the best and main ones I use on a daily basis. I have super oily skin and this helps from it not to show and stays on all for a good while :)
Not enough colors
I haven't tried this foundation longterm but wore a tester today. The tester color i got which is stated above is the second to last color they offer and its way to light. Im hispanic with tan complexion yellow undertones. This foundation skips the tan department from light to dark and the dark could be way darker for AA women. Its disappointing the colors in which they offer because i really wanted to have to purchase just one tube make my color not two:(. I like the texture of the foundation and thats why it received more stars.
After reading reviews, and browsing through endless amounts of YouTube videos pertaining to this foundation, I finally decided to buy it. Let me preface this by saying that I have oily skin and I suffer from dozens of acne scars. I was looking for a foundation that could provide full coverage and didn't leave me with a greasy feeling on my skin. This foundation does the latter perfectly. It gives me a matte look, and does stay in place for a good while, which is what I need. As for the full coverage part, I'm not too sure that I can speak on that. Maybe, it's the way I apply it, or it could be the fact that my scars are very pigmented, but I still see my acne scars through the foundation. Either way, it's a fantastic foundation.
