Noir Lash Tint$50
About Noir Lash Tint
Precisely defined, denser-looking lashes that last all day—with just one sweep.
Surratt's Japanese-made metal “brush” allows you to coat every single lash—even the shortest, hardest to reach hairs—all the way down to the roots. The smooth, intense-black formula, exclusive to Surratt, creates the effect of elongated, fuller lashes, from corner to corner. For a precise definition, sweep on one coat. For increased density, use two. For increased density, use two. For extreme volume, use three or more coats to build without the bulk.
Why It’s Special
No flaking or smudging. Fast-drying, long-wearing, water-resistant.
How To Use
Before application, prep lashes with our Relevee Lash Curler. For complete coverage, swipe the metal brush from the root of the lashes all the way to the ends. For gentle but thorough removal, use an oil-based eye makeup remover.

I have an issue with pretty much every mascara. I always have smudges beneath my eyes. Some are worse than others. I was on a quest for the best one. I have straight Asian lashes. They are long, but don’t hold a curl. I was skeptical that this Surratt Lash tint would do anything for my lashes, but this is MAGICAL. It’s so easy to use. You can get so close to your lash roots, and there’s no poky, sticky wand! My lashes separated nicely. The curl held beautifully (thanks Surratt lash curler). No smudges. No flaking. Just beautiful fluffy lashes. Amazing lashes!! The product is very teeny tiny though- I do hope that it lasts a long time. I’m also hoping that Surratt Beauty will sell refills for this. The wand will last forever!15 found this helpful.Donna M. Nov 19, 2020
Just what I have wanted in a mascara but have never found!
This formula is NOT for someone who wants very thick, lush, fluffy lashes. It is for someone like me who wants subtle but very defined, glossy black, noticeable eyelashes that still look natural and will NEVER smudge or smear. I find the slim metal applicator to be genius. It applies the mascara smoothly and with zero clumping and promotes the curl in my lashes. I absolutely love it. The only negative is, as others have said, relatively challenging to remove. Since I don't apply it super thickly or in multiple coats the problem is not so difficult for me. I have found that Embryolisse Lait works really well to remove it gently and easily. I use lash conditioner and am not having any problems losing lashes or having them feel brittle. This product is expensive but I don't use much at a time and I anticipate that it will last a long time. I'm sure it will be extra fabulous in the summer when it is hot and humid. You can't have it all, and I prefer a little more trouble with removal and never getting the dreaded racoon effect. For me, this is one of my top 2 fave mascaras.6 found this helpful.Donna M. Upgrading review from 4 to 5 stars!!!
Hi, everyone! I first gave this wonderful mascara a 4 due to difficult removal, but since then I purchased La Roche-Posay Respectissime sensitive eyes waterproof eye makeup remover. I both wear contacts and have sensitive eyes and this remover is the bomb! After using it, I go over my eye area with Bioderma miscellar water sensitive to remove any residual oiliness. Now, I’m loving this mascara 100%. Please read my first review for the details on why I love it so much.3 found this helpful.Anna M. Jan 30, 2021
The only mascara I like.
I have been looking for years for the right mascara and finally found it with Surrat. The only negative is that the container iis very small and it looks like there isnt a whole lot of product in there. However, I LOVE the way ths looks, and gives definition to my eyes, and will never use another brand. I do not curl my eyelashes and don't have particularly long or visible lashes (I do have dark hair and skin though,so need some definition in my eye makeup.)This stuff really makes a difference, giving my lashes definition, color without getting clumpy or giving that "heavy mascara" look, which i hate. It does give a lot of color and definition to your lashes, and doesn't wear off , which I love, but it does it in a way that is different from other mascaras. Maybe that is why they call it a lash "tint." As another reviewer said, this also does not leave smudges under your eyes. It stays on until you remove it, amazing stuff.3 found this helpful.Caroline M. Oct 30, 2020
Too many tradeoffs for not enough payoff.
Short version: stiff formula, hard to control wand, didn't flake or budge, but lost at least 4 eyelashes on one wearing. Longer version: I wanted to love this, after someone I trust recommended it. I liked the idea of it being a tint, thinking it would be very lightweight and darkening, but not feel like a coat of paint on my lashes. I found the applicator to be very imprecise. The mascara keeps getting on my eyelids and not just a little of it (and this was on multiple uses, so not just a learning curve). Trying to get the roots produces more lid mess. Fine - I can remove mess, if the product is good, but I don't care for it. It is very stiff and makes my lashes felt tight and I'm keenly aware of them all day. This darkening and defined the lashes and didn't produce significant lift, curl or volume. It didn't smudge, flake or burn my eyes - a problem I have with most formulas - but it required a heavy duty balm to remove and I still woke up with 4 fallen eyelashes on my cheeks. For me, too many tradeoffs for not enough payoff.3 found this helpful.Mariko B. Mar 25, 2021
This is my everyday mascara. My lashes are naturally curled towards my outer corners but my inner corner lashes need some help. Because this isn't a traditional mascara wand, I can really get in there and apply the tint to my tiny inner corner lashes. I use this regularly on my lower lashes, as well. The wand distributes a perfect amount I've never had any clumps or smudges. This lasts the whole day for me and removes easily with a cleansing oil or gentle soak/rub with micellar water. I LOVE the sleek oil slick packaging. This product is easy to identify and upgrades my look. Also, it's 2/3 the price of Hourglass's Curator wand (and that is the wand alone, no mascara!). I hope they come out with a refill for the tint.1 found this helpful.L K. Mar 14, 2021
OK — but nothing earth shattering.
There is nothing wrong with this mascara, and it does give you a natural, pretty look — but you do need to use a brush to get the clumps out after application, and the mascara is next to impossible to get off. You have to use heavy duty eye make up removers, so, if you have sensitive eyes, removing it is a disaster. Most importantly, I don’t see how the result justifies the price. Kevin Aucoin mascara gives you the same look, but better, easy to remove, and for 1/2 of the price. I definitely won’t repurchase.
