Sugarpill Cosmetics Heart Breaker 4-Color Palette is a pigmented luxury eye shadow collection in a mirrored palette. Colors include: Mochi, 2AM, Acidberry and Velocity.
When I decided to purchase this pallet it was because I wanted to try more colorful matte colors. I was not expecting much and thought I would have to use NYX underneath it to see the colors well. Boy was I blown away once I tried it! I don't know where to start, there are so many amazing points!!!! For beginners, this shadow is soooo pigmented and very creamy for them to be matte shadows. I've never seen this kind of quality in a bright matte shadow before. The consistency is excellent. The shadow is not patchy at all. These shadows go on so evenly and are quite opaque. As I was applying the shadows I was surprised that it was not necessary to pack the color onto my lid in order for the color to show up well. There was no fallout either. Even thought they are matte they basically go on more like a satin finish. Their not chalky at all. There are absolutely no cons to this product and I would repurchase this in a heartbeat! I am looking forward to purchasing the other pallets.
The Sugarpill palette in Heart Breaker is really an excellent overall product. The selected colors make a very well-chosen set - any two or three of the shades pair together beautifully (or all four if you're going all out!), at the same time that each color can stand on its own. I've been playing with this palette pretty much every day since I picked it up. The colors are smooth and buttery, and blend together with other shadows absolutely seamlessly. I have a LOT of eyeshadow and this one blows everything else out of the water in terms of blendability.
I will say that the pigmentation was not what I was expecting after using some of their loose shadows, which are absolutely packed with dense color. I have incredibly pale skin, but even after trying several different types of primer, I have had to work to build color up to the same intensity I see in other people's photographs. I'm still giving this palette five stars because that actually works in my favor - I have been enjoying twisting a little bit of Velocity and 2AM into a work-safe eye, which I could not do if the colors weren't able to apply a little bit sheerly. I honestly thought I was doing something wrong during application until I read some of the other reviews on here, and saw that other people have noticed the same sheerness in the pigmentation. Anyway, if anything, this has actually increased the range of use I get out of this palette, so I don't count it as a negative at all. Just be warned that to get completely opaque, vivid color, you will need to dip your brush a few times.
I bought this palette when they were having their black Friday sale. This has been the one I've been wanting the most. It has my most favorite colors in it. I bought the special addition color @#%! when the site was selling the remainder of their stock. I was slightly disappointed when I got this palette. The colors are amazing, but some of them lack pigmentation. The limited addition shadow, shadow is very soft and super pigmented. The colors Mochi and Acidberry are the most pigmented in the palette, and they don't come close to the limited addition shadow. I know that red is going to really pop, but still. I found 2am to be quite sheer compared to the other colors. Velocity has to really be packed on the brush to get full opacity as well. These are still very easy to blend, apply, and look fabulous. They were just a tad different from what I expected.
this is my first quad palette from sugarpill. i own lots of their loose shadows and pressed, but never got my hand on a palette till now. holy cow was this amazing! all of their shadows are just so amazingly pigmented. it's going to take me forever until i finish up these colors. you only need a little on your brush, and it fills up your entire eye. they aren't dry or chalky, and what i like most is that they aren't crazy shimmery. they have a tad of shimmer to it, but not over bearing on the eyes. i would definetly recommend any sugarpill products to anyone. even to people who are scared of colors!
I am so in love with this palette (actually all the Sugarpill palettes)...Very pigmented, great colors, easy to blend. I love Sugarpill Cosmetics! I love Sugarpill Cosmetics! I love Sugarpill Cosmetics! I love Sugarpill Cosmetics! I love Sugarpill Cosmetics!
When I first heard that Sugarpill was coming out with another palette, I was so excited that I waited patiently to get one and when I received it, I fell in love with all four colors! Acidberry is my favorite out of the four and I have done a look using all four colors and I loved it so much! I do recommend getting this palette and it's only $34.00 instead of having to pay four individual ones for $48.00.
So yeah, I did only buy this palette for the Limited Edition @#$%! Pressed Eyeshadow. Mainly because I have colors like this palette in my kit and I really try not to duplicate unless i need to for personal use. I'll be happy to keep this in my personal kit, the pigments are strong as all the other Sugarpill colors are...in my opinion I would have preferred the @#%$! to be paired with the Burning Heart Palette or at least have been given a choice in palettes...truth be told, I probably have a duplicate for every color in all the palettes....HA! #junkie ;-)
I have both heart barker and sweetheart pallet and both have really good color pay off. Formula is smooth and not chalky like other brands i've used.
I just love SugarPill's pressed eyeshadows. They are EXTREMELY pigmented, much more than the melt cosmetics Radioactive stack. I find it applies easily, true to colour & does not crumble/flake when stroking a brush onto the pigments. A MUST buy if you love bright colours.
This was my first palette purchased from Sugarpill and I was blown away by well they apply and blend nicely together. I have used it over top of Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk and without. Honestly, you dont even need a white base to make these eyeshadows stand out. If you dont own this palette, you definetly should!
