Unfortunately a bit disappointed

I have been giving these a fair run for about 5 months. These unfortunately have never stopped shedding for me. I'm used to floating hairs and a few shedding here and there throughout the life span of a brush. But I have a lot of natural hair brushes and I've never experienced shedding on this level. It's a shame because the brushes themselves are absolutely stunning and the saikoho bristles themselves are silky soft. But since they are not the densest brushes, I feel that they can't ''afford'' to shed as much as they have been doing. So these were a flop for me unfortunately.

Another great set

I purchased this brush after reading some reviews. My expectations were not that high as I thought this set may be similar to other brushes that I recently purchased. I have to say, that I'm so glad I got the set as the brushes are very special and their performance is somewhat different than other brushes, specially the small brush, it has a peculiar craftmanship and the bristles are soft but with certain resistance that makes a product application flawless. I tried it with setting powder, with blush, bronzer, highlighter and the results were always amazing. I'm extremely happy with this little wonder. The big brush is dense and soft, the bronzer application is superb and for setting or finishing powder, this brush does the task in a breeze. in addition, the delicate design , structure and color combination makes this set a must have.

I love Sonia G brushes…I immediately fell in love with the set when I saw the pic.. I like the shape and the softness of them. However, I’m a bit disappointed because they shed pretty bad and the the bristles blow open on the side.. even after I washed 2 times…not sure if I should pull these off?

Definitely my best set of the year! The brushes are of top quality and creative shapes, can be used with highlight, blush, bronzer, or anything you want. A splurge but worth it.

Impressed and amazed

I wasn't sure at first as I only wanted the little angled set. I am so glad I got this set. The bigger brush is perfect for applying setting powder. it's not too big and just the right size for me. The little angled brush is exactly as I was looking for, HG cheek brush for me. perfect for powder and cream products. the shape is unique and handles are so beautiful, it really imparts a sense of calm when I hold it.

Still shedding

Love the shape of this brush. Read some other reviews about shedding and I have to agree. Have washed it prior to use and it is still shedding 2-3 hairs per day. Didn't buy a 2nd set because of this.

Disappointed

Like other reviewers, mine shed too! And the bristles are harder than I expected. I purchased them because of the shape. The big one is alike Niji but they are actually very different. I was planning to use the small one for the under and over eye area but it is so rough that hurts my eyes. Overall, a bit disappointed, I really like her original individual brushes, and these are not comparable. Sorry!

Brush will poke your face if not hold in the right angel

Good Quality brush. Hair does fall out even after a few uses. But what I found to be most annoying is that the small brush will poke your face if you don't hold it in the right way. Not worth the price. (I brought the product based on the high review but it is just ok)

larger one sheds...smaller one cuts!

After 3 washes, the larger brush still sheds, the smaller one is just so so, because of the angle design and less density than usual highlighter brush--when you used at wrong direction, the ferrule will CUT your FACE!
