The color was calling me...
And I answered: "Yes, I will have papaya to go" an go it did, there is a small serving and sadly as beautiful, bright and beckoning as it is, it's equally NOT long-lasting. I put on a few layers and it did not last five minutes. I kid you not. Maybe the Fuschia will have staying power because it has blue in the base and that can help. I tried the sheer one an that too was a no-go.
Amy H. Jul 05, 2020After 3 years of sitting on my shelf, I finally gave up. For context, I am a sisley devotee - both of their skincare and of some of their iconic products. This was a fail that I tried to make work. As the other commenter noticed- this doesn’t stay. It doesn’t even blend appear on my cheeks (and I’m extremely fair and this is a bright color!). I tried warming up on my fingers and tapping it, then setting it; I tried with a stipple brush, I even tried just drawing a stripe straight on my face and blending/ tapping it in. Zero color payoff.. and the minute payoff that was there looked like some dirty ruddy color- not true to the product. I won’t be buying anymore and sadly finally tossed it in the trash! Better cream blush products I’ve used are from by Terry (glacée cheek and the new cc blush in a pump), as well as the OG Nars multiples (still iconic and long lasting) as well as the new Patrick Ta blushes. Even the Fenty sticks (hard to use) had more color payoff and lasted longer. That said - if you want to stick with a sisley product for blush I highly recommend the “L’orchidée rose” blush. It is stunning , lasts all day, beautiful light color that is extremely flattering and lasts all day. I’ve had that blush for years and it doesn’t even look like I’ve had it a month. Love that product.
