This easy-to-wear lip balm pencil combines the color of a lipstick with the soft, non-sticky shine of a gloss. Plant-based actives leave lips supple, smooth, and plump in just one use.
Twist up the pencil and smooth over lips as you would a lipstick. Apply one coat for a sheer wash of shiny color, or layer for more intense color.
Commiphora Resin Extract: Smoothes the lips and firms
Phytosqualane: Hydrates and protects. Maintains the skin’s softness and elasticity

I'm a lip balm aholic and have quite a collection of tinted balms that I love. But this one takes the cake! I love how moisturizing it is. The shade range is great, there is something for everyone! Considering that it's a balm it's pretty pigmented and leaves behind a nice lip stain. I've been wearing it nearly every day and I still don't feel like I've even had to twist it up yet. The price point kind of kills me, but it's on par for luxury lip products. It's the only think I've been reaching for in my purse and shade 7 Coral is literally the perfect shade for summer! Worth the splurge and the print makes it so easy to find in my purse!
If you've seen my review of the Confort Extrême Nutritive Lip Balm, you know that I LOVE that product! In fact, it's still my favorite lip balm and despite daily use, I still have more than half the tub left.
That being said, I was left wanting a travel-friendly version for daytime use, as all my other lip balms paled in comparison. Much to my delight, Sisley decided to release it in their Lip Twist range! It's just as comforting and nourishing as the tub version, so I barely need to reapply throughout the day. I'll definitely be repurchasing once I'm running low!
I've been obsessing over this Sisley Photo-Lip Twist for a year when I first swatched it (the price point seemed high). I have Cherry, and NC-15 skin, so cool colors and reds are sometimes hard to pull off. This sheer balm is an absolutely work-appropriate, flattering gloss-balm-lipstick hybrid that stays put and is hydrating. It is much more long lasting than a "tinted lip balm" and psyched I got it.
I've used other lip balms in a pencil style and while I love the convenience, they always seem to leave my lips dry (the opposite of what they're supposed to do). This balm leaves my lips nicely hydrated. The pencil makes application really easy, it didn't feather, and the Cherry color is just as it appears on Beautylish, bright and shiny. I probably won't use this when I want a precise, sophisticated lipstick but I will keep it in my purse for quick and easy access when my lips need a pop of color and moisture.
I love a nude / neutral lip, so at first , I thought this color might be too dark for me, but it is really wearable, and I love it! Since it's more of a balm, the color is more sheer, but still very pigmented. I love how it feels on my lips, and there is no taste, which is nice. I can just throw this on for work, and it's a great color and product. I want all the colors!
I wasn’t sure if I would like these lip balms, but after trying this one... I fell hard! These are so creamy and moisturizing on the lips. My lips get dry, and these are perfect for adding moisture and color. This nude color is subtle but has some sparkle to it. Really beautiful with a smoky eye! Love it!
I seem to be an outlier in that I don't find these to be moisturizing.
That said, they are non-drying and feel lovely on the lips! The shades are surprisingly pigmented- I don't think the photos do them justice. With a few exceptions (like the shade 1, which is the exact color of my lips) I find them to provide a long wearing pop of color.
I love a lip you can reapply without a mirror, and this is one of these. Chestnut is the perfect every day elevated lip color for me. This formula feels nourishing on the lips. Obviously a product like this does not have a lot of staying power, but you can pop this on again like a lip balm and keep moving with your day.
I had repurchased the Phyto Lip Twist (color 13 poppy) after I completely used up my first one. I confess that I own probably way too many lip sticks than I actually need in recent years. Therefore, it is a rare occurrence for me to completely finish one in full size. (I can name 2 other lip sticks that I completely used up and repurchased: Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in Amazing Grace, Tom Ford Moisturecore Lip Color in Pipa)
The phyto lip twist is hydrating and easy to apply. For this type of hydrating formula, I think it stays on throughout the day quite well. I would reapply after meals just so that it can look as good as the beginning of the day. however, even without retouching, it still lasts quite well (as long as I don’t blot it with napkins) and fades evenly. I love to carry it in my purse for a quick color on a casual day or touch up over similar tone lip products on the go when my lips feel a bit dry. This color is vibrant with a slight shiny finish. It looks coral-red on me. The formula seems to be somewhat semi-transparent but surprisingly this color covers my naturally very pigmented lips quite well. I had also purchased two more colors since I loved this formula so much, but I don’t think the lighter colors worked so well for me. My skin tone is light to medium (Asian) and my favorite color from this line remains 13 Poppy. I’m planning to purchase one more in Poppy so that I can keep one on my make up desk and one in my purse.
There is one small downside to this product. I feel that the cap sometimes doesn’t stay on very well. Therefore, I keep it in a small zipped bag (one of those gifts from a different cosmetic brand) before placing it in my purse.
This oversized lip pencil is fantastic. I did not expect it to make my lips appear plump and youthful, but that's exactly what it does. I purchased "chestnut" and the color is lovely, however, much more red than it appears on on my screen. It is still an awesome brick red that compliments my complexion and looks very natural as opposed to overdone. It lasts quite a while, leaves a nice nice stain-effect, and doesn't dehydrate the lips. Also, you gotta love the packaging. The only con seems to be the price ($50, *cough*). Still, I reach for this often and really enjoy wearing it. And that makes it okay. ;)
