Great Color, But That's About It...
I heard all the hype about Lip Tars and really wanted to try them out. Having interesting/hard-to-find colors made them seem even more appealing so I picked up Chlorophyll right after it was released (I mean, how often is green lipstick seen?). When I purchased this, it didn't come with a brush like most do now which is a pain for a product like this. I would have been fine applying with my finger but it stained too much for that. Now for application - I felt that even when applied with a lip brush, the product didn't go on smoothly and was hard to build up to get an even finish. A little product does go a very long way, which I find refreshing. From the reviews I saw for Lip Tars, I thought it would last a lot longer. It lasted maybe three (3) hours and I really dislike how the peppermint oil in it felt and smelled. Overall, I love the color but I don't really like much else about it.
