For the chubbier pencils this sharpener is awesome! It's quite sharp and manages to sharpen the nudestix without devouring a ton of the product. I would suggest cleaning it out after each use with a q-tip to keep the top from getting all gunked up. I love that each nudestix comes with a sharpener so I end up with multiples of these so I can always find one!4 found this helpful.Jenny A. Oct 21, 2014
Sharpener might be the best thing about nudestix
I had a couple of cheap eye pencils that this weird plastic coating around the top (NYX cream shadows) and I thought they were unsharpenable, but I managed to sharpen past that and get to the wood without ruining the point of the pencil with this sharpener. It can take thin or thick pencils as well. Works tons better than the cheap sharpener I got at Target that I've now thrown away.2 found this helpful.N Y. Nov 26, 2018
Doesn't work for skinny pencils!
It seems obvious now that the sharpener is intended for chubbier pencils (like the Nudestix brand size), but it's hard to tell from the product picture. I accidentally snapped an inch off my MUFE lip liner pencil trying to use this. Maybe it does work for skinnier pencils that have a wooden coating rather than the tough plastic pencils.1 found this helpful.
