I haven't used toners before, I didn't really understand it's purpose, and necessity for my skin. But I have normal to dry skin, and I received this toner from an Indie lee event (amazing by the way) and I've been using it ever since, every day for the past 4-5 months, and I still have a months worth or more left. This alone after I've cleansed my face, seriously makes my skin feel revived and balanced. I almost forget to follow up with a moisturizer. Ever since using it, my skin is supple, smooth and looks more even toned than before! This is seriously a staple in my regimen. I couldn't buy any other toner!25 found this helpful.Alicia H. Toners are back and I couldn't be happier!
One of the most common questions I get asked at Beautylish is "what is a toner for and do I need one?" The answer is "Yes. Indie Lee's CoQ-10 Toner." Toners historically have been used to pH balance the skin after cleansing. Luckily, we've come a long ways from the days of rocking the acidity scale and toners have been built in and stabilized in most cleansers (please see my review on Indie's Brightening Cleanser as it's a must paired with this toner). So while I might be a bit old fashioned and not view this as a toner in it's true form (although it DOES pH balance), the moisture benefits are beyond belief and have taken a true turn away from classic alcohol versions of yesteryears. A must have in any and every skin care regimen.23 found this helpful.Trisha W. Jun 22, 2015
Fantastic alcohol free toner!
For some reason so many women (and men) skip this crucial step in their skin care regimen. For my combo skin this has been a real life saver and I can always tell the difference if I skip toner. You may have been turned off by toners in the past because they make your skin feel tight and hot or red. Thankfully Indie Lee makes a toner without alcohol! Additionally it have aloe vera which helps repair skin. I love this toner!!! Toner helps to gently exfoliate the top layer of dead skin and restore your face to a proper PH. Those two benefits make a significant difference in how your makeup will go on and wear throughout the day!15 found this helpful.Hilary S. Mar 31, 2015
This toner has changed my life
Got it in my lucky bag and was not excited about it at all. Finally tried it after a week or so and couldn't believe how wrong I'd been.
It feels so good on your skin that you forget where you are and think you're at the spa. Even after just one use I noticed a huge difference in the softness of my skin. After a few days my skin looked brighter, smoother, less redness. When I added the moisturizing oil to my routine it got even better.
As much as I hate shelling out $30 for a toner, this is well worth it. It's lasted me close to 4 months so $90/year isn't too bad.13 found this helpful.caitlin v. Jun 30, 2015
I like it, not love
I wouldn't repurchase this because of the price, but it's a nice toner. I actually put it in my fix plus bottle and spray it on my face to set my make up..it works great for that and leaves a nice glow..but as a toner I saw absolutely NO difference in my skin..zero zilch none.8 found this helpful.Saffron K. Just a normal toner.
I'd been lusting over this product forever! All the write ups and reviews prepared me for totally new skin and a healthier product to keep on my vanity. Though really, it hasn't done much. I'm almost done with it, down to a little over 10% left, from six months of use which is actually pretty nice, but I break out as much as usual. Maybe even a little more than with my old toner, well, I wouldn't say it's causing it, but maybe it's more or less just not as controlling. I'm mainly disappointed because my orange peel toner from Target does the same job with the same results. I was hoping for brighter, more even skin, or maybe to at least feel a difference if not see it. TLDR; Just an ordinary toner with a nice bottle and an alright scent.8 found this helpful.Nadia W. Indie Lee's Coq 10 Gets a 10!
Indie Lee's CoQ 10 toner is a must have staple in your skin care regimen. It isn't drying and actually hydrates your skin while re-establishing your skin's pH level. It also closes pores. I use this before applying my moisturizers (Milk - pure argan oil by Josie Maran and Korres Wild Rose Brightening and Highlighting day and night cremes). My face is soft smooth and perfectly primed for a flawless make up application.5 found this helpful.Brenda L. Jun 28, 2016
I have acne prone, yet sensitive skin. I've tried all types of toners, and this one is the best. The 2 things that drew me to this product are: it's alcohol free, and it has hyaluronic acid. As I get older, I notice my once super oily skin is becoming more like combo skin. The acne fighting toners I've used in the past now dry and irritate my skin. This toner feels so nice and refreshing when I use it after cleansing. I still have to moisturize afterwards but my skin definitely feels more hydrated and clean. It's $30 so it's pretty steep, but that bottle will last a long time. I've been using the for a few weeks and it's still almost full. One thing I must mention: the scent. It smells like a perfume. It's not bad, but I was really surprised when I first smelled it. I guess I wasn't expecting it . It goes away though. just giving u a heads up in case you're sensitive to fragrances or strong smells4 found this helpful.Maria G. Mar 15, 2016
I had been on the market for a new toner for quite some time. I researched skin care lines and read rave reviews on Indie Lee's line. When I heard Beautylish carried it, I read the reviews, researched the products some more, and didn't hesitate to place an order. Apart from smelling fresh and delicious, this toner is quite an impressive product. It doesn't contain alcohol and is one of the most refreshing products I have ever used on my face. I apply it after cleansing my skin, saturate a cotton pad with the product, and gently apply it all over my face. Not only does it hydrate my skin, it allows my skin to absorb my serum and moisturizer a lot better, it has balanced out my skin, and I no longer have an oily T-zone. Love this!4 found this helpful.Amelia S. Jul 27, 2016
I've been thinking of buying this toner for a while so I weighed it out and it is most definitely worth the price. CoQ10 is right up there as the 3rd ingredient which is what I was looking for as the missing ingredient for my skin & I love it! It doesn't take much to do the job twice a day & should last a while. There are no nasty ingredients & I think Ill take Alicia's advise and check out the Brightening Cleanser as well.2 found this helpful.
