I have fair, pink skin that is prone to redness. I never used to wear blush because my face had so much redness already and blush seemed to exacerbate the problem. Diffused Heat is blush mixed with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light, which should cover redness. This mixture applied to my cheeks somehow eliminates the redness that I do not want, and adds a healthy flush. This product is magic! Diffused Heat has made me a blush fanatic.
This one is hard to explain, in some lights its a nude/soft mauve color, and on my light-med warm skin tone, it also pulls a peachy rosy tint. While some blush shades are more brightening(peachy pinks, bubble gum pinks), others are more sculpting(nudes, mauves); I think mood exposure is more of a sculpting shade. Its versatile for many looks, and won't clash with a heavy eye makeup. The formula is the best, its very smooth and airy so you'll never get patchy. There are no visible shimmers, and maybe a very subtle glow that aids in it looking skin-like. I like it for its versatility but I'm not super WOW-ed.
Most traditional blushes can sometimes seem flat on the skin, but these are quite unique. Their hand-made Ambient Lighting powders are fused together with soft, beautiful pigments to deliver an airbrushed and multidimensional look to the cheek area.
This formula by Hourglass is by far one of my favorites. They are extremely lightweight and create the perfect flush on my skin, blending seamlessly without looking patchy or flat.
The way these are poured into the pan is quite unique as well, as no two look alike, which is an extremely special touch from a makeup brand in general. You feel like you are receiving something so luxe and unique... and might I add that the packaging isn't too shabby either ;-)
The quality of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes are bar none, which have in turn created me into a loyal fan! I can't wait to get my hands on a few more shades.
Blushes don't usually last on me, whatever the formula, powder, cream, etc.. Because I touch my face so often. All gone, usually in a few hors, no matter what I do. Mind u,I work 11 hour days. That day I finished my makeup with a spritz of my favourite setting spray. End of the day, struggling to remove my makeup before I went to bed-highlight and contour long abandoned my mien, but lo and behold, the blush was still as gorgeous as when I first applied it. Magic!
Beautylish service is one of the best and shipping is relatively fast.
However I’m extremely disappointed with hourglass as they changed the color for dim infusion.
I owned dim infusion from the first they were launched. The color was coral but now it’s pinky.
The new one received, it’s color is totally different from hourglass’s website. Probably hourglass have changed the color for their latest batch. Extremely disappointed 😔
I said I wasn't Wow-ed by this color but I've totally changed my mind. Its the a perfect winter blush shade. I find myself reaching for this shade a lot. Not really great for summer looks.
Even before Hourglass released their bronzer, this sure did work for me as one! I have luminous flush, radiant magenta and mood exposure and this shade was my favorite! Gave me a nice warm blush... the kind I get after being sun kissed in the beach. Gave my face some softness to it. 💋💋
I bought two of these blushes in the mini sizes and I must say, they do not disappoint. They provide a soft, natural flush that makes for an amazing blush. These may seem a bit on the pricey side, but I feel that they are definitely worth it. I read somewhere that these are made in Italy and with the marbling, no two blushes are exactly the same. Like the bronzers, these are a combination of the ambient lighting powder (for radiance) and pigment (for color). I have the shades Mood Exposure and Luminous Flush. Mood exposure is a combination of mood light and a rosy plum shade. I think this is the most natural looking on me and perfect for fall/cooler months. The shimmer in this one isn't really noticeable on the skin and it provides a really soft, natural sheen. Luminous Flush is a combination of the luminous light powder and a "champagne" rose. This is perfect for spring summer. I also found that the shimmer in this is not that noticeable on the skin but it does provide a little more sheen than Mood Exposure. Overall, I really enjoy these blushes and you can't beat Hourglass packaging. They are quite expensive so I would recommend trying out the minis if you are interested before splurging on the full size product.
While I was initially put off by the price of this product, I decided to give it a try. I had just purchased a new Chikuhodo cheek brush, and this is the perfect combination. The powder is super finely milled and easy to build up to the appropriate intensity. I love the texture, and Diffused Heat is the perfect shade of coral for my skin (which has both pink and peach undertones). I promptly bought the Radiant Magenta and love them equally.
Gorgeous neutral blush, that brightens up your face in seconds. Blush has always been my favorite part of makeup and this blush is definitely one of my top picks! And I mean do I even need to mention the quality? Hourglass knocks it out the park with every powder product. It's light, buttery and with the perfect amount of sheen!
