Great for sensitive skin
Tried this after dr. Alexis Stephens (dermatologist on youtube, specialized in hyperpigmentation) recommended this in her video about best and safe products for hyperpigmentation for skin of colour. I have sensitive mature combination skin. Once you find the mixing ratio that works for you it is an easy product to use. I put a 2 to 1 ratio in a narrow glass (shot glass) for example 1 tsp of powder to 1/2 tsp of warm water. Stir with my finger to a very creamy lather. I apply a few minutes before shower, I do not rub or scrub, just apply and let the exfoliating enzyme work. It easily rinses of and leaves my skin very smooth and not stripped or irritated. Love this product!1 found this helpful.Andrea P. Apr 16, 2021
It's just okay
I'll start with what I liked about this product: -It is gentle enough to use every day if you wanted to, the exfoliation doesn't feel harsh at all, but is still effective. -The amount of product that you get for the price is amazing! -Once you get the water to powder ratio right, it is easy to use and doesn't leave the skin feeling tight or dry.
What I didn't like: -I've used this about 6 times and every time the morning after I wake up with a few new pimples. This has to be the cause since it's the only different element in my routine. I'm super bummed because although I am a chemical exfoliant fan overall, every once in a while (especially in the winter), a physical exfoliant is needed to tackle dry flakes.
I'll continue to use this as a body scrub in the shower to use it up, but I'm bummed it won't work for my face.Emer H. Feb 03, 2021
Gentle but extremely effective
After hearing some of my favourite youtubers rave about this product I just had to try it. After the first use, I'm hooked. Easy to use. Only had to splash a few drops of water in my hand to get it to foam up. Then after using, it had really removed a lot of dead skin and my skin was glowing and so, so soft. It didn't leave my skin stripped - and I have dry skin. Beautiful product and well formulated. Cheers Good Molecules. You've definitely hit the mark with this one <31 found this helpful.Megan S. Sadly, Not For Me
I read the reviews on this product and decided if I didn't like it I wouldn't be out a lot of money. While I do believe this type of product has its place, this one missed the mark for me. This product was messy and trying to figure out the ratio of product versus water was near impossible. Also, no matter how much product I used I never really felt any exfoliation instead it just felt like I was massaging a paste into my skin. Maybe I didn't put enough time and effort into figuring out how to best use it.2 found this helpful.Lio M. Jan 12, 2021
Takes a little to get used to since you have to mix it with water until you're happy with the consistency, but it's extremely gentle. The scent is almost not existent- slightly doughy scent. Another thing: If you don't add enough water, there are clomps. Easily solved with adding more water to make it more foamy.
Super super gentle exfoliation. No little grains and does not feel like sand. I recommend if you have a sensitive skin and you want to exfoliate.Theresa C. Jan 11, 2021
I read good things about this and decided to give it a try. It is very gentle and you control the intensity of exfoliation by how much powder you put into your hand. I find I get a deeper scrub by using a mitt instead of more powder. You also get a TON of product for what you pay. I will be using this bottle for a long time.
