Charlotte Tilbury calls this her "holy grail of foundations," and for good reason. With its ultra-lightweight, skin-perfecting formula, Light Wonder illuminates, smooths, hydrates, minimizes pores, and reduces wrinkles for a seamless, breathable, beautiful finish.

So im NW13 in Mac and 1 Fair worked perfect for me. I want to start by saying, I'm use to full coverage because i like too look flawless (like anybody would) i originally use Studio Fic Fluid in MAC and compared to CT Light Wonder, CT is a medium coverage, it doesnt cover AS much BUT it looks so damn natural and cover enough thats NEEDS to be covered. if that makes sense? i watch a lot of wayne goss videos and he always says more than likely your applying too much foundation causing it to look cakey, so i went with this, which he recommend and i love it. i love that i can't feel it on my skin, i love that its more lightweight, and it does cover everything. i just got CT retoucher concealer and tried it today and it made a world of difference. everybody has complemented my skin and how it looks so smooth and natural. and seriously let me tell you I'm FAR from a flawless face. ill post a before and after below DEFINITELY keeping this routine!! this is what i use now Moisturizer (any kind, any brand) CT Wonder Glow CT Light Wonder CT Aribrush Flawless Finish Powder.
A lot of reviews are critical of the light coverage, but this is not a bad thing. Foundation should be used as sparingly as possible, and the coverage that this foundation gives is enough to even out the skin and give the most glorious dewy glow. Build up the foundation if you need a little more coverage, but any imperfections should be corrected with a concealer and set with powder. The finish that this product gives is glowing and healthy-looking.
For a shade reference I am a NC30 so Shade Medium 6 worked great for me (with the help of the lovely lady on the chat helping me to find my shade). This foundation is very very easy to blend and very easy to build. I have no issues building this up to a light/medium coverage. For me it covered redness without sinking into my pores or breaking me out. I was worried about purchasing based on the reviews but I honestly think its gorgeous. Now I did and always have to set my foundations with powder but a light one if you want to keep the satin finish. Something I liked about this foundation is that when it does wear, the finish stays natural and wears very evenly and 'softly" if that makes sense. You don't get that melting look which I HATE in the summer. Overall very happy with my purchase =]
With the help of the beauty consultant on this site (She is more awesome, than you can ever imagine) I was able to choose the correct shade, because despite being African American, I'm usually not the deepest shade in a color palette. I really like the dewy finish (my skin can be combination, but tends to be on the drier side, but I also used Magic Cream & Wonder glow underneath) the foundation (which I have on in this pic, along with CT lip products) and I love all the products together, especially when topped with FILMSTAR (MY FAVORITE)
I haven't worn this foundation alone, but I love that it's as light as a tinted moisturizer and that there isn't a lot of blending to make it work well, not to mention that you can apply it with your fingers, to get the best finish. It's quick and seamless.
Very pretty subtle glow, which is especially important to me, because I'm in my 40's
I was nervous about selecting my shade online, as I've heard some spotty things about the shade selection for this foundation. Alicia helped me via online chat and matched me perfectly. She was right in saying, "This foundation is very forgiving," as in, even if you don't get an EXACT match, it seems to blend really well and melt into the skin. As someone approaching her 30th bday, this formula is perfect for achieving a healthy skin glow. It even maintains the "glow" even if you set with powder! If you need a mattifying foundation - you won't find it here. It doesn't settle into any fine lines or break down throughout the day (even if I get a bit oily). Touches up easily with a light application of powder. I can apply with my fingers and get a tinted moisturizer/sheer coverage, or easily build it up with a foundation brush for a more flawless effect (medium/buildable coverage). I think for ladies with normal/combo/dry skin ages 30+, this is a beautiful foundation for day to night. I also love the size of the bottle! You are getting a bit more than you do in many standard foundations.
I usually wear full coverage foundation. I tend to gravitate towards matte finishes, too. After watching a YouTube vlogger and Charlotte's vids, I was entranced by the models's skin and vlogger's skin. It looked so healthy and radiant. I bought this with the powder and the concealer, as well. I didn't buy the skin care items, because I have a fabulous moisturizer I use now.
Anyways, this is sheer to medium coverage, but can be built up. This does not settle into pores or wrinkles. This makes it a holy grail item for me. This foundation makes me love my skin. I swear it diffuses light or something because my skin looks wonderful. It has a luminous finish; so this wouldn't be an oily person's friend. My skin is on the oily side, but I love this glow this gives. I powdered once today, and I was good to go.
I highly recommend this to folks who have dry to combo skin, even if you tend to get a little oily, I'd say try it. I am impressed.
This product is beautiful. It is a great weightless foundation that still delivers medium coverage. The consistency is very liquid and silky; it dries fast and stays on the skin nicely with minimum transferring. It feels very similar to the Koh Gen Do Aqua foundation but with more coverage and definitely a more satiny finish to it. As for longevity, it lasts for about 5 to 6 hours without retouching; after this time, I see some patchiness on my combination skin. Color 6 has a great olive/yellow undertone to it that is suitable for medium to medium-dark skin tones. Packaging is aesthetically gorgeous; very Art Deco, but the best thing has to be the practical design. It is great for traveling or just caring it in your purse since it is a thin plastic bottle that fits everywhere.
My skin shade is so fair and I have yellow undertone. Lately lots of makeup brands bring out fairly good colored foundation. But still.. the lightest shades are usually too pink, or still too dark.. and I have dry skin. so I can't use any foundation that just match my skin tone. A lot of famous foundations are too drying for my taste. But this one caught up my attension. I wasn't sure the color match till I actually got this. So great color. just lovely neutral, yet little bit leaning towards yellow side, so moisturizing and so glowy. really makes my skin looks healthy. It becomes holy grail for me. I will buy backup soon surely. Just so lovely
I have exceedingly dry, mature skin. Usually by the middle of the day my face starts to be very uncomfortable because my foundation does not provide enough moisture. Not so with this foundation. I had it on yesterday for twelve hours. My face still felt moist at midnight. Amazing! The Fair shade is perfect for my very pale skin and the application is effortless. I couldn't be more pleased with this foundation!
I wanted to love this. I am a huge fan of Charlotte's line. I adore her pressed powder and eyeshadows. For reference, I am the shade alabaster in bobbi brown. Not only did this not combat my redness, but I never felt my skintone was improved, even at a sheer level as promised. Unfortunately, i looked sallow/yellow. I was encouraged that there were four 'fair' shades. I chose the lightest and it was still too dark. I would think given Charlotte is a ginger, though it seems she may fake tan, she would be welcoming of us fair set, but not so lucky. I have never had to return to Beautylish but I had to return this.
