Charlotte Tilbury: Magic Skincare

Hard pass for me
I was really hoping that I would be blown away by this cream that I could justify the expense. It is VERY expensive. This is a no for me. No matter how much I would use; it would leave a greasy layer on the top of my face. When I say greasy, I mean if you have a squeaky wheel that you need to oil. You could take a rag to my face and get a enough to make that squeaky wheel go away. It does nothing magical for my skin. This is definitely a purchase I regret. I highly do NOT recommend if you have a similar skin type to me. For reference, I have combo skin (Oily t-zone / dry cheeks).
This is not as great as advertised
I saw influencers raving over this product. So before I pay (un ojo de la cara). An eye out of my face, I decided to buy the smaller size. I expected this to be thick and do wonders. What it reminded me of was the consistency of what my mom used to use years ago. PONDS night cream. This moisturizer does have a fragrance of peony. I used it as directed and I didn't feel that it did anything that a lesser moisturizer couldn't do. I went back to my l'occitane 25% ultra rich face cream.
Great for dry dull skin
This is a great moisturizer for drier or dull skin. I tend to get oily throughout the day so I can't wear this underneath my Magic Foundation or I will be shiny as a mirror. The scent is nice, reminds me of sunscreen. I find the creme comparable to the Tatcha creme, has the same feel to it when it's on the skin.
Good, but pricey
This cream is really moisturizing on the skin, but for me thats about it. Doesn’t work miracles or anything. I heard from several people that you needed this for the newest CT foundation to look nice, but I disagree. Also don’t like the rose scent, I think it gives the cream a cheaper feel.
