There are so many ways that the Bioderma micellar water has improved the quality of my life. Here is a partial list: 1. My contacts are staying cleaner (no oil slicks) and my eyes are less irritated because of the gentleness and non-oiliness of my cleansing/makeup removal around my eyes. 2. I know lots of people love to "double wash" and use other cleansing products along with this one, but my experience has been that it is absolutely all I need, and that my skin is healthier, clearer, less irritated, and more hydrated with far less fuss and bother than ever before. 3. I am saving time and hassle both in the morning and at bedtime. 4. My mild rosacea is much improved. 5. I am saving SO much money on cleansers, toners, eye makeup removers, etc. and it is fun to spend it on other things (makeup splurges, anyone?).
Caveat: I'm 61 and still have some oil in some zones of my face. I like a more natural makeup look and do not wear lots of hard to remove waterproof face makeup or mascara. Hydrabio (or Sensibio) removes my By Terry foundation/concealer/blush, Inglot gel liner (tightlined), and normal wear mascara just beautifully and with no skin or eye irritation whatsoever. It does it FAST and one bottle lasts me an amazing amount of time and only costs $20.00. I use it at least twice daily, but it is also great for travel, camping, post-exercising, changing out makeup for an evening out, etc.
I love Bioderma and now I have no excuse not to take off my makeup at night. I used to use Bioderma Sensibio H2O to remove my makeup and now use Hydrabio which leaves my skin a little more hydrated and has a subtle scent which Sensibio does not have. At night time I remove all my makeup using Hydrabio before applying my moisturizer at bedtime. In the morning I use this as a toner after I rinse my face. Another great way to use this is as a quick fix. If you have any shadow fallout or need to fix eyeliner or lip liner, use a q-tip or cotton pad to make a correction. Bioderma is oil free so it will not leave an oil residue. I like to change my lip color from red to nude and this is a perfect time to use the hydrabio too!
I already owned Sensibio and was almost out, but after reading the amazing reviews for Hydrabio, I decided to purchase that as a replacement. I have really sensitive skin with psoriasis all over my face. My face doesn't flake up, but it is irritated at times with small bumps/texture. Some products tend to be harsh on my face but Hydrabio doesn't seem to affect it. It does feel a little more hydrating than Sensibio. It's not milky or creamy (obvs.) but it does feel smoother on the face than Sensibio. I can't really find a scent in this (some people said it has a slight scent) and it's fine with me if it's fragrance-free. It's pretty good at removing makeup and I'm glad it doesn't burn my eyes like Sensibio. I would repurchase this. I tend to reach for this more than my MAC wipes or Ponds wipes.
I wear a lot of makeup for my job and sometimes I need to take off and reapply in the same day, so this has been a god send, especially since I live in Vegas and have dry eyes and wear contacts! Awesome product!
I've been using cleasing water for 7 years, tried Bioderma Sensibio, Avene, Koh Gen Do and La Roche-Posay. Honestly, they're all very similar, just different scent, price and packaging. I personally don't like how they scented Avene and La Roche-Posay, they don't smell like hypoallergenic skincare. Also they're kinda overpriced. I believe Koh Gen Do and Sensibio are both unscented. I recently got this Hydrabio, and I love the scent, flora?apple? Not quite sure. It does make my skin a bit more hydrated than Sensibio. What I normally do is use Bioderma to remove my foundation and eyeshadow as soon as I get home, then go to gym. Using eye makeup remover to remove my mascara and eyebrow makeup before I go to bed. Thus, my skin can breath and I will still have some pretty makeup until I go to sleep.
I have been using the Sensibio for years and have totally loved it. Enter Beautylish, and now I've discovered the Hydrabio, and my life is complete. I have very sensitive skin (rosacea, eczema, etc) and this is what my skin has been longing for all this time. The Sensibio was great, I still have it and use for makeup fixes or to get some stubborn eye makeup off, but the Hydrabio is cleansing, moisturizing and makes my skin feel fabulous! This is a must have for mature, sensitive, or dry skin.
I absolutely LOVE all of the Bioderma Micellar Cleansers!!! They are so handy for quick cleansing and they do an amazing job of removing everything off your face from dirt, oil to makeup.
This takes my makeup off so easy and fast and moisturizes at the same time. I have dry sensitive skin and love it. This is my new favorite for removing makeup.
I've tried all sorts of wipes, toners, and waters. But none of them have removed makeup as well while also being moisturizing. After I have used it, my skin feels perfect - like nicely moisturized, hydrated skin. No breakouts or clogged pores, not smelly. I have not used it to try to remove eye makeup, but I have used it to remove makeup and to refresh my skin in the morning. So far I have been very happy with it and my skin thanks me for using it. I am curious to try the other formulations.
I am so obsessed with this product. I purchased it based off its great reviews and I will never use another makeup remover again. As an esthetician having clients come in with a full face of makeup can be a challenge to keep your timing right, this product literally takes a minute to remove a whole face of the most difficult products and it's great for those lazy nights I climb into bed without scrubbing. I have 2 bottles and 1 is always by my bedside.
