This foundation not only has the best coverage it applied like silk! For someone who has terrible hormonal acne, finding a good foundation that lasts all day is a tuffy. This stuff only requires one pump, like it is advertised to do, and literally feels the best on my skin. Super lightweight, doesn't clog my pores (I have sensitive skin) and DOES NOT crease, what more could you ask for? I also love how this isn't completely matte it looks like actual skin, meaning has a slight radiance too it. Favorite foundation so far! Heres a picture of me with the foundation on :)!
As I get older I am noticing that my skin is drying out. With that being said I have had to change my foundation because all my old stuff doesn't work anymore. After going through quite a few different ones we go to Becca.. And let me tell you how awesome this is! it didn't cling to the dry areas in my face and gave my skin a healthy youthful look. its has a slightly dewy finish but it isn't anything overwhelming. there was no need to set this foundation it wears all day with the occasional dusting of a blot powder of your choice depending on what your doing. (I'm a hairdresser and sometimes the blowdryer gets me) I hugged people, no transfer. I just love it! it's a sophisticated lady like foundation! the coverage is great. my skin looked like skin. I use a Cover FX primer and an Estee Lauder moisturizer. I love it! I would recommend going to Ulta or Sephora to get color matched first especially if your are a WOC. But I love this foundation and I hope they never change it!
I actually bought this foundation on a whim with no prior research or knowledge on it (BAD Hannah) but it actually turned out to be a gorgeous product. That's really not a surprise to me as BECCA has become one of by favorite brands for that very reason. I have oily skin so that's always a concern when purchasing a new foundation, but I can confidentially say this wears VERY well and looks great even at the end of the day. I like to apply it with a brush first and then blend it into the skin with my damp Real Techniques sponge, and then just add a little extra on my problem areas where I want more coverage. I have to use a primer but that's something I have to do with every foundation, regardless. I highly recommend this one!
I've been looking for a full coverage foundation to cover a few acne scars and freckles. The makeup artist at Ulta recommended this and after trying this on along with another brand, I opted for the Becca foundation. It seems to stay on all day which I like and it definitely has more coverage than the NYX HD Studio Photogenic foundation I used to use. I use more than one pump though and it doesn't fully cover my acne scars and a few freckles are still visible. I personally don't understand all the "OMG this is the best foundation" hype. My opinion is, it's okay. On days that I want to wear less makeup and get a more ntural look, this stuff is great as all i use is this and mascara. However on days I want to go all out with makeup and get that flawless skin look, I feel I may have to add layers and layers more. I do recommend trying it out though. Ithe has a matte look which I like and I don't have to set it with powder so I save money there.
Goes on streaky, I can't use my beauty blender or it lifts the product off if you baby it a little it looks good for about 2 hours then it separates and looks hella cakey. For the price don't bother.
I really wanted to love this foundation but unfortunately I just really hate it. I like a full coverage matte look. I go through several steps to make sure my face looks flawless and I just couldn't get there with this product. I actually purchased both buttercup and porcelain to get the right color and while it is a good match color wise that's the only good thing I can say. I start with Marc Jacobs coconut primer, Dior flash spray base, and then my liquid foundation followed usually by my it powder foundation and finish with Dior flash matte spray (ridiculous I know) This has always worked so my skin looks smooth and doesn't budge. I literally didn't want to walk out the door with this on but I didn't have time to start over. It separates, looks patchy and I don't have dry skin. I just really really hate it, wish I could get my 88+ back, hopefully mixing with other products will help. If you're a fan of blotchy coverage go for it if not I'd look look elsewhere.
Really like this product, however I wouldn't recommend it to someone that has really thick fine hairs on their face as it goes clumpy and weird. That and the fact that you have to blend it quickly before it sets are really the only bad things I can say about this product.
This foundation is a hot mess for people with dry skin even if you do exfoliate and prime before application. It is incredibly hard to blend and so fast drying it clings to your skin & doesn't budge it separates and is awful especially on the nose crevices do not waste your money on this foundation it is such a shame as I love Becca highlighters but I won't be purchasing a foundation from them again.
FULL FULL COVERAGE but still skin-like. And it lasts a full day from 8am to 8pm!!! I mix it with light wonder from CT to give it a bit more dew and it looks AMAZING!!! New go-to foundation on working days!!!
I don't think this foundation gets enough hype, it truly is a high quality full coverage foundation. It has a thick feel but blends easily into the skin with a BB or brush and unlike othe full coverage foundations does not go cakey. It comes in a huge colour range for different skin colours and undertones, I'm a NC-25 in MAC and buttercup fit me perfectly.
