Good neutralizer on tan/medium-deep skin

Skin colour reference: MAC Studio Fix NC43.5/KA SSE SX11/ND Glow foundation #75.

I'm used to using peach and orange based correctors. Got dark under eye circles and hyperpigmentation on cheeks plus chin and around the mouth. Sometimes I find it tricky to balance from "over-correcting" in order to achieve a flawless, non-ashy face vs using less peach/orange correctors and having a less even toned face. When I "over-correct", in other words build up the product with more than one layer, my face can end up being too warm (I try to avoid looking like the Oros man 🤗 Look it up on Google 😉). So I was hoping to find a deeper red-orange shade that required less product in order to neutralize.

Colour: The red-orange shade of the Becca papaya is not that strong when the product is applied. It leaves a good deep warm tint over my problem areas that's not bright, so it seems to neutralize the hyperpigmentation well but not show up too warm under my foundation/concealer (Yay, no Oros face!).

Texture: Has a "Vaseline" or lip balm feel about it but the product is very light and thin. It does not apply greasy at all and I've got oily skin.

Application: It blends well and leaves a slight tacky feel, sort of like an oil-control primer. I've used it either before and after my primer; makes no difference, my foundation stays in place with both methods.

Longevity: - Chin and cheeks stayed reasonably "corrected" thoughout the day. - Undereyes start off looking great, but seems to fade quicker and I look tired again by the afternoon, despite using primer before application. I also tried applying a teeny tiny bit of product over my eyelids to neutralize the darkness before applying my eye primer. Not a good idea! The colour payoff seemed better and eyeshadows stayed in place the whole day. But I think it was too much product for my eyelids - after a while, I looked like I had thick crepe-like eyelids - very aging!

Spot application: due to the texture of the product, it's difficult to apply only to small hyperpigmented spots. I found it a better product for applying and blending into a larger discoloured area i.e. my chin and cheeks.

Verdict? I will buy this product again for using on chin/cheeks, spot correct with another product and will continue with my hunt for the perfect eye corrector :)
