Wait for a sale, and pick the right color

I own a bunch of them, and some are better than others. In general I really don't feel like they're worth 16 bucks. Retrofuturist- my first, a super bright neon red. Nice creamy texture, and super long wearing- it lasted 8 hours through eating and drinking. The downside of that is the stain- it lasts for at least 12 hours after. Overall, though, really nice, if not especially unique. Centrifuschia- love this as an alternative color for a pinup look! Bright without being too over-the-top and very flattering. Wears about as long as Retrofuturist, still has some staining issues but the stain is way more subtle and even kind of pretty. Nice texture, I like it. Airborne Unicorn- this is the reason I keep going back to Lime Crime. Every time I wear it I get tons of compliments and everyone wants to know what brand it is. Very unique and gorgeous color, different while still being wearable. Not as long-lasting as the previous two, but with a little gloss on top it lasts about four hours. Really love it. Cosmopop- I so wanted to love this, but the color looks odd on me and the formula is just not very nice...chalky and sinks into lines on lips. I'll occasionally use a little of this as a stain with gloss on top, but that's about it. Might be nice on the right person, who knows. Glamour 101- Gorgeous color, love how it looks on me. A good option when Retrofuturist feels too bright, this is flattering and perfect for a pinup look. Wears for about as long as Airborne Unicorn.

All of em- be careful, because the cap does break very easily. The unicorn design also wears off really fast. Neither of those is a huge deal, I just feel like for the price it should have quality packaging. They are kinda soft, so don't push too hard. The vanilla scent was nice, but semi-recently they changed it to something gross. I asked and they will be switching back to the old one soon. Since they are opaque, make sure your lips are well exfoliated and don't have any lip balm or anything on before applying. Lip liner is highly recommended, otherwise it's a little hard to apply perfectly.
