Beauty Product Reviews

Good-- but not for me.

Starting out in makeup, I looked to the Sales Assistant at my local Mecca wondering about a good concealer. She chose this one, trying it on me and at the time, I really didn't know what I wanted in a concealer; so I bought it. But, after experimenting more with makeup, I realised this product is not for me. I think it is a fantastic product, it blends well and is easy to use, but my problem area is dark circles and this is definitely more of a brightening pen that I would use over correctors to brighten up the face. Although I think it's amazing; I don't use it enough to be worth the money!

Didn't think I'd like it-- but it's amazing

This shade was an impulse buy for me. I had seen a youtuber raving about it and just picked it up while I was in store. For a long time I didn't even try it, but once I did-- I was blown away! This is the perfect Kylie Jenenr/Nineties nude shade. It is nice and creamy, with a slight sheen, but nothing too glossy and the colour is a brown based mauve nude. Perfect for everyday!

My most favourite palette EVER

This was a impulse purchase, but it was also the best purchase I ever made. Without fail I use this everytime I do my makeup, even if it's just for the colour 'white chocolate' as a blending shade. The range of colours is so beautiful and different-- while still being completely wearable and neutral. The pigmentation is spot on and I have no problems with fading or being hard to blend. The only fault I can say about this palette isn't even about the eyeshadows! My packaging broke just a bit near where the mirror is a few months after I purchased it (but, don't worry it is still functional and there has been no damage to the gorgeous shadows!)

A must have for beginners and makeup collectors

This was the first high end palette I ever bought and at that point it wasn't available in Australia so I went through hell in order to get my hands on it! But it is so worth it! I have to say, there is some palettes I like better only because of the lack of mattes in the Naked Palette and the fact that some shades require a few layers to show to how they do in the pan; but other than that--you can't go wrong! It's a must for any neutral girls and it's an easy palette to take when you're travelling because it's so versatile!

Love it-- But only for a few hours

Although I am absolutely in love with this foundation; I can't use it day to day because I find I get oily and creased in a matter of hours. I love the coverage and the finish this foundation gives but I only ever wear it on special occasions where I'll be wearing it for maybe 6 hours and will have the opportunity to powder during the night. I absolutely recommend it as long as you don't mind the maintenance
