Beauty Product Reviews

"Its only a dollar!"

I am a nail polish snob but I bought some of the nail art polish because I figured whatever its $1 a lot cheaper than the stuff at Sally's and I am not so impressed with what they sell at Sally's. That and I was giving them as a gift to kids who honestly would rather have 3 or 4 bottles than one bottle of a more expensive product. When I bought theres I bought one to try myself because it was only $1 I figured if I hated it I was only out $1 but I loved it and later I bought a bunch of my own, and when I was buying more they had some fun polish colors and my friend was buying one so again I said "its only $1 lets try a couple" I fell in love, I actually hardly ever buy China Glaze anymore because they have good alternatives and if you get a color you don't really like when you try and wear it it only was $1. Plus I have a neon purple that looks similar to FLYING DRAGON by China Glaze minus the slight blue glitter but I will take that any day over China Glaze because it applies easier, and It wears great (granted I use it with a good base coat and seche vite top coat but I use that with all my polishes and I think that it lasts just as long if not longer than OPI, China Glaze, Orly, and other pro brands I use.

Ugh not anything like the NYX base in the jars

I use the NYX base in the jars and I love that, and it lasted through many many many applications but I am beginning to get to the point I am running a little low, so I bought a tube of this because I thought the benefit of having an applicator (the little jars don't) was worth paying a little bit more its like $1 and change difference in price. I hated it. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FORMULA- The feeling is much more fluid than the jars and it has a very greasy feel it is sticky and hard to apply shadow over it, and it gets all in my eye shadow brushes. I will definitely go back to the product in the jars.
