Separating!

All of a sudden I noticed my brush holder is separating on one side. The wood on one side is bending away from the other side. It’s never fallen and wasn’t overstuffed with brushes. I don’t understand how this is happening. It’s not in a humid bathroom or anything like that. The other brush holders I have from Sonia are fine, they have little nails on the ends. This is very disappointing. It still holds brushes but doesn’t look good. I hope it doesn’t get worse.

Great brush

Larger brush than the original airbrush, this brush picks up hard packed powders and applies them lightly. Very nice brush. May get a second one to always have a clean one ready to go.

Beautiful set!

Love the shorter handles, easy to get close to a mirror. The eye brushes are soft and work beautifully. The cheek brushes are soft and airy. I love the holiday sets. This is a very nice set that I’m glad I purchased.

Stunning handle

I have the original fundamentals set, so I only need the additional brushes. The handles on the new set are gorgeous (as are the handles on the original set) This brush was part of the keyaki set for travel. The printing of the name on the new handles is black, which I find harder to read than the keyaki set which was printed in gold. The new handle is very comfortable though. The brush hair and ferrule are identical to the one in the keyaki set. A great brush!

Stunning

This set is absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. If you visit the Chikuhodo site, their photos better represent the gorgeous handles of this set. The brushes are incredibly gentle on the skin. The foundation brush is surprisingly soft, it is such high quality goat hair. The powder and highlight brush are equally amazing gray squirrel. Surprisingly the eye shadow brush is incredibly soft yet firm, perfect to lay down powder. If you admire or collect Japanese brushes these are a great addition. I have the Noel Lumiere set from 2015 and I feel this set is just as beautiful.
