Finally, a (mostly) multichrome palette!

I've been waiting for an accessible multichrome palette for years, but the price gave me pause. Eventually I gave in and ordered it. I am obsessed. I can't stop looking in the mirror and slowly turning my head from side to side to fully see the multichrome effects. The shades chosen work well together. Galaxy, Aurora, and Gaia are black-based multichromes and they all share a shade such that they can be blended together at the edges. Galaxy shares green with Gaia. Gaia shares gold with Aurora, and Aurora shares purple with galaxy. Martian and Solar Rain are multichromes that have a sheerer base and can be used as toppers over the other 3 or on their own. Solar Rain surprised me in how versatile it is. Strawberry moon is a purple sparkly sheer highlighter. It's quite nice too. I took off 1 star from my review because the Polaris gel formula doesn't seem to have the same longevity as the other shades and realistically, you do need a primer for any of the shades to last. I don't see myself using Polaris as often as the powder formula but maybe I'll change my opinion over time. I also really disliked that Sol isn't multichrome. It's a beautifully intense sparkly gold shade that looks stunning on its own or with Solar Rain over it, but we all bought the palette for the multichromes and I wish it instead had a fiery shift. I am very much interested in also purchasing the Lightwork IV palette to end up with a wider array of multichrome shades and textures, but frankly, I think I prefer the colour story in this palette. So far, the price has held me back. We'll see how long I hold out.
