Beauty Product Reviews

Great for sensitive eyes and skin.

I have been using this product for the last few weeks, and I have to say I'm impressed! I've used the Koh Gen Do micellar water and before that, I was using plain, straight up mineral oil.

The mascara I use (Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes) is a real pain to get off. It's water resistant, but not waterproof. As such, it can be a stubborn mule to get off at night. The mineral oil took much longer than the Koh Gen Do and Bioderma, both of which get it off fairly quick. However, the difference is in the gentleness between Koh Gen Do and Bioderma; Koh Gen Do would burn my eyes each time, while Bioderma Sensibio did not. I wear contacts so I'm sensitive to things in or near my eyes, and this does not upset it at all!

Equally, my skin is fairly sensitive because of medication but this product does not contribute to any break-outs or redness. It's very soothing and refreshing.

I will definitely be repurchasing this product in the foreseeable future. For the price and quality, I know of few better products! I love the Pro Pack, as I'll be traveling for work in August and it'll be nice to have something to bring with me to be able to keep up my routine.

Creamy almost to a fault, long-lasting, and pigmented!

I had this eyeliner gel for several months before trading it. I regret it, and when I am done with my MAC Fluidline, I'll be returning to this.

This product is creamy, long-lasting, and is easy to work with. I've worn it through -50 degree windchill winters and through very humid, 90+ degree summers--neither of which gave me problems. It is very pigmented and when you line, it doesn't get less pigmented when you make strokes over it. It's very easy to work with, and if you are looking for a good first gel liner, this is a pretty great one. It's also pretty huge so you're getting a nice bang for your buck (as in amount of product for price) as well compared to, say, the MAC Fluidlines or Bobbi Brown gel liners.

I only have a small quibble with this product which prevents me from giving it a full five stars:

It is creamy almost to the point of detriment. For the seven or eight months I had this product, it never once dried out. However, because it was so creamy, it migrated fairly easy when I was applying it and coated my contacts on more than one occasion. It is a huge pain to clean off, especially when you're in a rush in the morning and it is very dangerous if you don't notice it until later when you're driving. That part isn't necessarily the fault of the product, but when it is creamy enough to migrate, that irritates me.

Overall, though, I would definitely repurchase and plan on doing so once I run through my MAC Fluidline.
