About Me

My latest kick is Illamasqua cosmetics and I have a ridiculously large collection of nail polishes and lacquers. I'm not a make-up snob per se, but aside from my Sonia Kashuk colorless powder and Maybelline's Colossal Volum' Express mascara, I don't buy cosmetics at the same place that there's lettuce or rotisserie chickens. I've leaned heavily on M·A·C for my daily make-up routines over the years, but I also like products from Smashbox, Clinique, Lancôme, Laura Mercier, Pevonia, DHC, Maybelline (mascara), CO Bigelow (lip gloss), Burt's Bees, and Estée Lauder. I don't use BB/CC, but am considering trying it. As for nail lacquer, typically I'll wear either O.P.I., butter LONDON, Illamasqua, or M·A·C varnishes. I like Pureology for hair care. I'm a natural blonde whose blonde has gotten darker over the years. I like my eyes because when I smile my right eye squints up more than my left -- it gives me character.

Mineralize foundation loose powder in Light Plus mixed with Fix+. Mineralize blush in Amber Glow. Pro longwear paint pot (eye paint) most frequently in Let Me Pop. Clinique Naturally Glossy mascara in brown (as a lash primer). Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express mascara in Glam Brown (waterproof -- only one coat). Lipstain/lipstick/lipglass/lipgloss, either just one, or two in combo.
