Makeup by Blanche Macdonald Makeup graduate and CurliQue Beauty Q Talent Leader Jaylene McRae with Make Up For Ever. "The main attraction to this make up is the false eye and mouth created. The depth of the lashes and the stability of the makeup around the eye and lip, is what ensured the success of this make up design. “Aqua Black” waterproof eye shadow was what was used to create the black lines. Panstick #070 created the stark canvas set with white setting powder. Make Up For Ever’s intense pigmented eye shadows make blending and color placement a snap! I find the collection of glitters from MUFE to be the best, they added the extra “drama”. Finish off with some rhinestones / the right wig and costume and Voila!! Fantasy made into reality!!"

I wore this look on stage in Belfast recently gigging with Nanu Nanu. I applied each rhinestone individually using standard latex eyelash glue. The lips were done with my GOSH Extreme Art Liner (supposed to be used on eyes, but I experimented a bit outside the box for this one) and for the eyes I used my trusty Maybelline Gel Liner in Blackest Black. I am also wearing pale blue contact lenses which are UV receptive but you can't see that effect in this photo.. I am yet to work out how to photograph that because it needs to be so dark for it to work! GFx

This is a look I put together for a day recording in the studio with Nanu Nanu. Not quite as dramatic as out gig make-up, but I thought some bright gold and reds would be good for the strong energy we put out in the studio! I first applied a base of goldish shimmers on the lid and marked out a cat eye shape with some vaseline jelly where I wanted the stars. I applied the loose glitter stars on top of the vaseline layer (you can also use eyelash glue for this if you want a stringer hold, but I didn't have time for that on this occasion) After the stars were on in my lid in a shape I was happy with, I drew an outline using my Gosh Extreme Art Liner in Red to add a bit of heat :) www.nanunanuband.com

Close up of my littlesisters lips when she was going to a crazy colors birthday party. I just used nyx jumbo pencil in milk all over her lips and then put eyeshadows on top. didn't want to put a gloss on top because i wanted it to last longer, but you could have done that too.
